Clare opened her eyes and saw a celing made of oak planks, it had jagged sides, with moss growing on its corners. Her mouth felt parched, her body felt heavy, her face felt scorched. She tried to wake up, but she was certainly too weak, all she could do was just lie down, and rest. She remembered the encounter with the two magicians very clearly, her transformation, how they perished in thin air. It was almost unbelievable. Her thoughts were interuptted by an occasional clanking sound. Soon, she could smell the aroma of mushroom soup and freshly baked bread. She turned her head slightly to the right and saw the shelves she had seen earlier. Despite the pain, she turned her head more, eager to find out what was hidden behind the wall at the back of the bed.

The urge to get up was overwhelming, but it seemed that half of her body was still paralyzed from what she had been trough yesterday. However, she caught a glimpse of someone's hand moving, stirring the soup probably. She also saw the furnace beside him, inside was a pile of dough, rising to become bread. She noticed that there were already two trays of them on the furnace. Why would Eddy make so much food today? When she caught a better look by moving her stiff body slightly, she saw three whole pots of mushroom soup, two baskets of colourful fruits and a whole turkey beside the basket. She looked right and saw piles of book stacking up, nearly reaching the low ceiling, she also realized that the bookshelves were empty.

Clare began to suspect something, something was going on here. She tried to look back, more baskets caught her sight, inside were the potions she saw outside the hut, their recipes glued securely on each of the glasses. The looked back up and started daydreaming, could it be possible? She took the last glimpse in the kitchen and saw Eddy still busily working in the kitchen, preparing more food. She reached down under her bed and felt something like wool, she tugged it out with all the energy she could, and saw a huge wool satchel. Could it be possible that they were moving?

Eddy turned around and noticed Clare staring at the kitchen. Hey laid down the wooden spoon he was holding, and took a few steps towards her bed. He sat down on a stool, and touched her forehead. He closed his eyes and began to whisper, "Looks like you still have a high fever, we'll have to delay the moving for a day. How did you chase those ghastly magicians away?" He asked, curiously, while licking his lips.

"Fever," I started feebly, "I wasn't what I was yesterday, I was nothing but a monster, I did more than chase them away," Clare added, looking at the ceiling. " We're moving, But why? This is such a peaceful place, birds chirping, the scenery as beautiful as I can imagine," Clare averted her sight towards Eddy, whose smile suddenly turned into a frown.

"It's not safe here anymore, soon Lord Hesthar will soon send more recruits here and try to destroy us," he croaked sadly, water began to fill his eyes," I never thought that the day would come so soon, I'm gonna miss this hut," But his expression suddenly change, he was now astonished. "Did you say, you weren't who you were, and you," he paused. "Possible killed them?" he finished.

Clare nodded. " I was just standing there, waiting to be killed. But rage was  suddenly bubbling inside of me, the next thing I knew, my whole body was feeling terribly hot, then aqua light started glowing from my body, after that I couldn't recall anything. I just remembered myself lying on the floor, then here I am now." Clare said, her voice getting stronger by the second.

Eddy's jaw dropped, he starred at Clare in amazement, "You must be the Chosen One," Eddy said, his face still in stunned.

Clare was disoriented, "What's The Chosen One?" asked Clare in confusion, now being able to move her hands and feet, but her body still glued tightly to the bed.

"In every one millionth new born baby, one of them possesses the power of the Spirit of Alzrea, Goddess of Light. These people save the world from mischief caused  by the evil magicians. And I am certain you are one of them. In fact, I think you're the only one alive now." He laughed, while getting up and continuing his cooking.

"So, I am endowed, like you all magicians?" she asked. She held up both her hands, they trembled, but that did not matter, for she was now a magician, she still fascinated by the fact.

"Indeed, but only more powerful," he winked from the kitchen, now preparing a bowl of unusual, its content inside was slimy green in colour, it seemed disgusting, would they be eating that when they explored the woods? Eddy placed a spoon in the bowl, and came walking towards Clare's bed. He placed in on the stool.

"Drink it, its an ancient medicine. You'll recover in no time. Trust me, you just have to get past the taste, that's all." He said. Easier said than done. Clare began lifting the bowl, its gruesome content wobbling like jelly. "Drink?" Clare asked, grimacing. Eddy nodded, folding his arms.

She took a sip and stuck out her tongue in disgust, but still she forced the sticky liquid down her throat. As she consumed her medicine. Eddy gave a worried look.

"You're a hero now, Clare," Eddy said. "With great power, comes big responsibilities. Since you're the Chosen One, We must defeat The Seven Magicians, they are causing harm to all, and if we're too late, I'm afraid it would mean the end of me, and you," he said, still depressed.

As she finished her medicine. She placed the bowl aside and wiped her mouth with her sleeves. "Where do we go now then?" she asked, her voice suddenly so soft and gentle.

"I'll tell you tonight, we need to get moving now. I suppose you're feeling normal already." Eddy replied. And indeed it was true, her body felt light, and her body temperature was just as it should be. She moved her body, and she was certainly in a good state in such a short amount of time. It was a miracle, the medicine surely did the trick.

They packed all their things in 3 hours, chests laid in front of them, each item neatly categorized into them. Bread, silk, wool blankets, fruits, books, potions, logs, flint and steel and even satchels inside. It was impossible for them to move the chests. Clare glanced at Eddy, which gave her a wink. He lifted his hands, and started chanting. Soon, the chests became as small as ever, just the size of Clare's palm. He then placed all 11 chests into his satchel, and opened the door. Ready to leave the 100 year old hut.

Clare stepped out, and turned back, taking a last glance at the hut. Eddy stood beside her, staring at the hut for quite some time now. Finally, he lifted his hands once more casting a final spell. Soon, overgrown vines surrounded the hut, completely camouflaging it. Clare sighed and turned around, she now had a great responsibility of saving people.

"Let's go," Eddy called, already a few steps in front of Clare.
