A/N
I'm so sorry; I've been soooo lazy to write a new chapter. Please forgive me T-T Oh and yeah, from now on, I'll be changing "Krillin" to "Kuririn", his original name. I better stick fully to the Japanese Dub.
Well guys you don't have to wait much longer, this book will end soon and I'll be more than happy to write the second. Just bear with me for a while, yeah? I know reading what you've watched is BORING.
CHAPTER THIRTY-SIX
It is too early to be celebrating.
Yamcha and Tenshinhan have momentarily forgotten about Cell's ability to regenerate even when the damage is extremely severe and aren't aware of the significant amount of Ki left in him.
Suddenly, Cell's lower body leaps up own its own, giving all of us a nasty shock. It writhes and wriggles until the bulging black substance of the top of the lower figure shoots out its other half. Cell is completely revived.
The fight continues. They're fortunately still on par. Since the Kamehameha attack, they lost a lot of Ki. Regardless, they're managing to go on this long even though they're becoming fatigued.
Goku fires Ki blasts at Cell rapidly and nonstop, not giving him a chance to move from where he is. He seems to have Cell cornered but suddenly, Cell releases an enormous destructive force crackling with lightning. It appears to be a barrier to protect himself from Goku's attacks. How surprising Cell has to resort to a technique such as that. It somehow pleases me.
Cell might have been slightly overwhelmed but Goku is weakening fast. Cell is weakening too but at a much slower speed. This might not be good.
"Kuririn-san, hurry and give Goku-san a Senzu," Trunks says. Kuririn stays unresponsive so Trunks tries again.
"Shut up, Trunks!" Vegeta orders. "Apparently you don't share the pride of the Saiyan warrior race. He would rather die than win like that! Right now he's not fighting to protect this planet or anything resembling that."
A look of bitter defeat spreads across Vegeta's face and the following words shock us, "Cell will beat us certainly," To think Vegeta, with pride the size of a planet, would admit this with such tone. From this point on, everybody must have realized that there's no hope left for us.
"Then what should we do?!" I shout, not because of anger but because of despair. "Just shut up and watch?!"
He gives me a look. "You said it yourself. He has some secret plan for this battle."
"Then let's hope it's a good plan." I breathe out, trying not to let anxiety get the better of me.
All of a sudden, after a few words exchanged between Goku and Cell, our last hope powers down and calls out the words we never desired to hear or imagined coming out of his mouth:
"I give up,"
Hearing the words make my hands sweaty and my heart flip like a fish inside my chest.
