We rode to the restaurant in silence. Not an awkward one but a comfortable one that left us both in our own thoughts. We pulled up to a seafood spot. He turned to me "You like seafood right?" I shook my head before telling him that I was allergic. "Oh shit my bad, we can go somewhere else." He was looking so nervous. "I should have asked first." I laughed. "Adonis calm down, I'm joking. I love seafood." He looked at me laughing and just got out the car and headed to the door. "This dude is really mad." I said to myself before following suit and walking in after him.

Once we were seated, he still wasn't speaking. I sighed. "If I would have known your ass was gonna get like this, I wouldn't have played around." He just stared at me and then broke out into a grin. "You're not the only actor." "I'm a woman, so I believe the correct term for me is an actress." He leaned back "Do you have to be so correct?" I went to answer but the waitress came to take our drink order. "Do you know what you want?" I looked up at him. "Do you see me looking at the menu?" He asked. "Do you see yourself laying in a hospital bed if you answer me with a question?" He squinted his eyes before leaning forward "I don't know. Do you see yourself being my nurse?" I put my head down and once I knew what I wanted, our drinks and waitress were back. "I'll have a caesar salad, extra dressing, shrimp scampi extra extra shrimp with grilled asparagus..." I looked up to see Adonis staring. "Oh and fried string beans for my app." After he ordered we were left alone. "Where you gonna put all that food?" He wondered. I patted my stomach. "So Adonis. I need to know some stuff about you just to make sure you're no killer." He chuckled "Too late, you're already out with me." "True. Tell me about yourself." "I'm an only child. Born in New York. I have my masters in business. I make beats and produce music. I also went to school for dance. Get that look out your eyes because I'm not showing you." He paused while I laughed at him. "Now you go." He folded his arms. "I'm a twin." I started. "Something I don't know Britni." "Don't interrupt. I'm from New Jersey. I like the color purple, I dance, own my own studio. I'm spoiled rotten and I hate to be told no. I can eat chicken everyday and never get tired of it. I was a stripper for about a year or so." I stopped to see if there was a change in his facial expression. There wasn't one so I continued. "And I hate people." After I got that out our appetizers came out. "You hate people. How?" I shrugged. "I just do." We sat and ate getting to know eachother more.

As we pulled back up to my dance studio, I turned to him. "You're not that bad Adonis Smith." "You aren't either Britni James." Noticing his car was still running, I reminded him. "Cut that car off you owe me some dance moves." He groaned. "Come on man. Tomorrow." "Now" I demanded. He turned the car off and followed behind me sulking. "Cheer up bruh." I smiled before turning on Blood On The Leaves by Kanye West. He started and I was embarrassed for him. This dude could not dance! I was turning to cut the song off until I looked through the mirror and saw him actually killing it. Shaking my head I watched until the end. "You punk!" I said punching him in the arm. He just grinned at me. "Now that you've witnessed my bomb ass dance moves, I'm trying to witness yours." Rolling my eyes "Okay." I pulled my tshirt off and threw it so I was just in my leggings and sports bra. "But," he started out. "You have to do it with me."

I broke out into a grin. "Like dance dance? Or sexy dance?" I asked. Looking into his eyes, I saw an evil glint. "Okay dance dance it is." I walked away to switch songs but he stopped me pulling me into him. God he smelled so good. Trying to inhale his scent, he bust out laughing. "Why you smelling me? I stink or something?" He started smelling his underarms. I just kept laughing. "I want that dance Britni." "You two are pretty close." I rolled my eyes. "Anthony, go home. I told you that I have a daddy already." He always had to pop up when I was close to Adonis. I threw my shirt on and went to grab my bag out of my office before stopping by Kyra's. "I'm out. Cover my night class?" "I got you and stop getting mad at Anthony." I mumbled a whatever and left.

I walked into my parents house and headed straight to my dads home office.  "Hey daddy, what's up?"  He looked up "Who made you upset?"  I pouted even more.  "Do I even have to say?"  He sighed.  "You two always-"  I cut him off.  "No it's not 'you two' it's only your son.  He acts like he's my dad."  "So how is he doing this?"  "Well...."  I started out.  "You know Adonis?"  He nodded and I continued.  "He doesn't want me to speak to him and I'm slowly becoming friends with the guy.  And it's like everytime we get close, your son pops up and starts blocking hard as shit.  Excuse my language daddy." "I'm giving no advice. You're grown so if you want to get close to the man, I say do it.  Don't worry about Anthony, I'll speak with him."  I hugged him and kissed his cheek.  "I thought you weren't gonna give advice."  I smirked.  "I wasn't, now get on out of here."  "Alright.  See you old man."  "See you little girl.  Remember you're grown.  Do whatever you want."  I turned and smiled.  "I always do."
