The stress finally got to her. We all thought it would happen sooner. That we would wake up one day and not see her anymore. But it didn't get her like that; it didn't physically kill her. She is stronger than that. It wouldn't take her from us like that. But it got to her.
They couldn't tell, but I could. I always saw it in her face. I could see her struggle to force a laugh. I could see a frown behind her broken smile. I could see her drowning in her own thoughts and yet she was always "fine" or "okay". I watched over time as all of her energy and passion, she was once full of, drained completely away. Now all I can see in her is the stress that finally got to her.
