Smoke & Mirrors(ON HOLD)

Chapter Three

Steph and I are on a plane heading to Cleveland. 

I wanted to bring Josh but he said it didn't seem like a good idea. Josh and I spoke right after I talked with Steph about my feelings for Kells.

 He told me he wasn't happy about it but he has to deal with it because Kells and I have history. He also understands that I'm not ready to just jump into another relationship so we are taking things slow. I'm afraid that I'll lose him. I'm afraid he won't want to deal with me after a while. I was interrupted from my thoughts by my phone saying that Tasha called, she said for us to meet her at the house because there is a surprised party for Casie at Kells. 

"  but we need to get her a gift."

" I'll get it and head to Kells and you just get her ready."

I wasn't really ready to see Kells. I knew him and Amber broke up but I still am not prepared to see him. 

I told Josh and Steph I would speak with him but I wasn't planning on it today maybe tomorrow because I don't want to ruin Casie's day. Before we took off I checked my phone for any important messages or notifications. I decided to check my Twitter since I haven't been on there in a minute. 

I checked my notifications to see some of Kells fans got into an argument and it somehow involved me. I guess Kells had a little Q&A and they asked about me. One person said "@machinegunkelly are you and @ARphotography still together? "

One person sent a link to that interview with Ebro and another just responded it's none of their business which started a whole argument. The person that sent the original tweet was both a fan of Kells and I so I followed them. I Dm'd them and asked if she was okay. She told me about why she asked the question.

" I'm a really huge fan of the both of you, and I always thought you brought out the best in him so when I saw him posting about Amber I was confused."

" I saw the other person calling you names and I just wanted to check on you and tell you Kells and I are no longer together but neither are him and Amber but don't tell anybody. "

We talked a little while longer until the plane took off so I turned my phone off and just went to sleep. I needed some rest.

The plan landed some time in the afternoon and we soon made it to Tasha's around 1:30. When we opened the door Casie ran up to me " ALYX!" She yelled excitedly. 

" I didn't know you were coming."

" Now why would I miss my baby girl's birthday."

" I missed you so much Alyx."

" I missed you too and guess what ?"

" Later on I have a huge surprise for you. "

" What is it."

" I can't tell you now, you'll find out later but let's get you dressed"

Casie led me upstairs to her room and wanted me to help her pick out an outfit. She wore this cute pink and white sun dress with her white flats that Ashleigh and I had gotten her at the beginning of the summer. She wore her hair out with her curls falling and framing her cute little face. I swear she's just a little caramel brown eyed version of her father.

We went downstairs to Tasha.

" So I'll take her over and you're going to work? "

" Yeah, I'll be over there after work. "

" Okay, I'll see you later."

Tasha and Casie hugged and kissed goodbye. I called Slim to come pick us up. A few minutes later he pulled up and I strapped Casie into her car seat and hugged Slim.
