Chapter Five

She looked like she had been crying. I walk to her and sat on the couch next to her. She looked at me with puffy red eyes and a sad look on her face. 

" Steph what's wrong? "

" I'm pregnant."

" How ? " she just looked at me with a straight face.

" I mean does he know ?'

" No, I took like three test a few days ago."

"Well are you going to tell him ?"

" Yeah, I just don't know when. We aren't even together which makes it even worse."

" Well I hope everything goes well."

' Wait, why are you back so early ?"

" Kells started to dance with me so I left."

Stephanne laughed at me then called me childish " You're still avoiding him ?'

" I guess but he was talking to me like we didn't just break up."

" That's weird but go talk to your therapist about it, he called me to apologize for eating my food and said for you to hit him back before you go to sleep."

" I will, I miss him." I got up from the couch and headed to the back to get my phone. I called him and he answered right away. He must of been waiting for me to call or hadn't gone to sleep yet because it's like two in the morning.

" Josh, why are you still up."

" I was waiting for you to call." i blushed so hard when he said that he's just so cute.

" I need to talk to you though."

" Wassup ? "

" Kells was being weird "

" Weird, How ? "

" He just started to talk to me. He asked me why I changed and then he tried to make me dance with him but I was so uncomfortable so I left." Josh waited for me to finished then he laughed at me just like Steph did.

" Babe, is that it ?"

" Yeah, why ?"

" well maybe he was actually worried about you. He just wanted his friend back so don't stress it."

" yeah you're right.'

" Y'know I should be charging you for my good ass advice."

'" Whatever, anyway I might have to postpone my trip to New York."

"Why, wassup ?"

" My tio called and said my dad was really sick, so I'm going to visit and Andy is coming too."

" I hope he's okay, how long are you going for ?'

" Just a few days."

" Okay that's fine."

" do you want to come ?"

" Huh?'

" Do you want to come with me? You always talking about meeting them, here is your chance."

" Are you sure this is the right time ?"

 " Probably not but I would really like for you to be there."

" Okay just tell me when you're going and I'll tag along."

" Okay bye Josh" Josh said bye then we both hung up the phone. I walked back into the lounge with Steph.

" Hey Alyx ?"

" Yeah Steph ?"

" Can you tell me about your mom. you never talked about her much."

" Like what ? A story or something."

" Yeah, anything good "

" Okay. I'll tell you about the time Andy was born."

MARCH 27th 1995

Third Person POV

Monroe had just went into labor with her second child. Her and her husband Oscar are both in the delivery room with the nurses just waiting for them to say she is dilated enough to push this baby out. She had been in labor since 5 in the morning and it's now hitting 7 at night. Soon after the doctors and nurses rushed in telling her she's at 8 centimeters and is ready to push but Monroe was nervous she didn't get the epidural like she had thought. During her contraction she screamed " Get the epidural!" but the doctor only spoke to her calmly saying it was to late for the epidural now she was going to have to push. She did this 3 times and on the last try she pushed with all her might until she heard the cries coming from her beautiful baby boy. She didn't even have enough strength to keep her eyes open and hold her baby boy, soon enough sleep took over her body and the last image she saw was her husband holding their son.

After a few hours Monroe woke up again and she was alone. She pressed the button that called the nurse and soon her nurse came in to see if she was alright. Monroe asked if her family was here and when the nurse said yes she asked if she could see all of them. A few minutes later her husband walked in carrying their daughter, Alyxandra in his hands and her baby brother Andrew in tow right behind them. She was so happy to see her beloved family that she wanted to cry because her mother and father weren't here to witness this. Her husband came up to her and kissed her gently on her forehead before asking " ¿Está bien mi amor ? " she responded with a light yes before her brother came and gave her a hug and kiss. Her daughter jumped out of her father's grasp and into her mom's bed. Alyx was so excited to see her mommy and her new little brother. She missed her mom so much. " Mommy, Mommy donde esta el bebe ? Can i see him ?" She said with so much energy and excitement for a six year old . " yes you can mija he's right here." Monroe took out her son out the hospital basinet and held him so that Alyx could see. Her son had woken up because of all the commotion and was just looking around taking in the new world. He had light brown eyes just like his father but everything else was just like his mother. Alyx moved the blanket that was holding him away from his face so she could get a better look and she didn't like what she saw. she made a face then said " No, mommy he looks like Tio Drew can't you get a new one?" Monroe had to admit he did look a bit like her brother but she had to explain to Alyx that this is her new brother and she had to protect and love him no matter how much she looks like her uncle. Monroe and Oscar had yet to agree on a name for their newborn son. Monroe wanted to name him Andrew Alejandro Oscar Rojas but Oscar wanted to name him Julio Oscar Rojas. Monroe absolutely hated that name, she didn't want her son to be named after a man who hated her and despised that his son was with her. Soon they both agreed that his name should be Andrew Oscar Rojas. Even though Andy was named after her little brother she kept it simple and sweet, using his father's first name as his middle name just as she used her first name for Alyx's middle name.

Stephanne just looked at me as i finished explaining like she was going to cry.

" Do you ever miss her ?"

" yeah, alot actually especially during our birthdays and when I broke up with Kells"

" I can't wait to be a mom, From what you tell me your mom is an amazing woman. I want to be like her or Ms.J"

"You're going to be an amazing mom and Auntie A will be there to help."
