Chapter six: Last week in the States.

Day 8

Ellen's P.O.V.

Day 8 of my holidays in the States. It's absolutely amazing. I'm having so much fun with Ashton and the boys. I have one week left here and I want to do so many things. I can't wait. Today is our second day in Houston and Ashton and the boys decided to take me to a space centre.

'Ready for today?' Ashton says when I open my door.

'Yup let's go'. Popping the p. I take my backpack and we walk towards the elevator.

I like wearing vans and backpacks. I rather where sneakers than pumps and I rather use a backpack than a clutch. It's just who I am.

When we arrive downstairs we sit down on a bench in the lobby. This time the other boys are late. Most times it's me who is late.

Michael and Luke come walking downstairs and walk towards us.

'Let's go the bus. Calum will be here soon'. Michael says.

'No I'll wait for him'. I say.

The three boys walk away towards the bus and I'm left alone in the lobby. After a few minutes Calum came walking downstairs.

'Hey what are you doing here?' he asks.

'Waiting for you'.

'aww that's sweet of you. and since we're all alone here I.. I need to tell you something'. He looks nervous and worried at the same time but it's kind of cute.

'What's it?' I ask confused.

'I.. uh.. I like..'.

'What do you like?' I ask even more confused.

'I like having you with us for two weeks'.

'Aww I like being with you too'. I say and give him a smile but he only gives me a sad smile back.

Calum's P.O.V.

'I like having you with us for two weeks'. I say but that's not what I want to say.

'Aww I like being with you too'. She says and I give a sad smile.

What's wrong with me. Why couldn't I just tell her I like her? I thought this was a good moment but I was so stupid to ruin it. I know Luke told me to wait a little longer before telling her but I just couldn't.

We walk towards the bus.

'What took you so long?' Ashton asks.

'If you were making out you can just tell us'. Michael smirks. WHY?

'MICHAEL WE WEREN'T MAKING OUT AND THAT WON'T HAPPEN. WE'RE JUST FRIENDS'. Ellen shouts.

Great. Even better. She practically just made it clear that we won't be a couple any time soon. I see Luke giving me a sad smile. Why do I have to like her? There are so many other girls. Michael keeps on making jokes about me and Ellen and I can see Ellen is getting pissed.

This morning I was in such a good mood. I prepared on telling Ellen that I like her. But then I messed it up. And now this happens.

Everyone sits down on the couches and talks about things but all I can think of is Ellen. She made it pretty clear she doesn't like me the way I like her.

'Calum?' Her sweet voice asks.

'huh what?' I ask having no clue what they're talking about.

'Do you want to be an astronaut?'
