Sabine's POV
"YOU DON'T look very good." Gianna says to me. I didn't feel very good either. I had just went to little 'party' with the seventh sister. God did I want to slice her head off with that lightsaber. "I don't think we ever do after torturing." I say back. She shrugs in agreement. We are standing in the middle of a prison waiting for us to do our 'service'.
"So what happens if we mess up?" I ask.
"They beat you, of course. But they also do it occasionally for fun so I wouldn't get your hopes up." She tells me unenthusiastically.
"Wow, that's sounds fun." I say sarcastically.
"You get used to the pain when you've been here for a decade." She tells me.
I stare back surprised, "You've been here for a decade, with no family?"
She nods, "Nor friends, until you got here."
I smile a little bit knowing she thought of me as a friend.
"Plus, it's been five years without my family, they once were here too." She says sadly. "What happened?" I ask. She glares a bit at me and I immediately regret asking, "Sorry I just-" I start to speak until she interrupts, "No, it's fine. Someone should at least know." She says. "They decided to escape by going through that fence over there, do you see it?" She says pointing to a big, silver, fence with loud buzzing sounds. I nod and she continues on, "It's electricity could kill you in one shock but they decided to do it anyways. They didn't have any kind of experience with that type of stuff either." She tells me. "I knew that they wouldn't make it so I chose not to tag along, and when I tried to stop them from going they wouldn't budge." Her eyes began to fill up, more prisoners were seeming to join me in listening. "The night they went I followed them, screaming for them to stop. They still chose to block me out, I was a disgrace to them, a coward to them for not going. They didn't want anything to do with me. Once they finally got an area open, I knew they didn't have much time. The hole was big enough for them all to go through at once, and that one little second they went through, was the second, the second..." She began to choke up on her words, "The electricity went to its full power again, I got to watch my family die, right in front of me." She starts to cry, "It's all my fault!" "It's not your fault." I say trying to comfort her, she just shakes her head back at me. "It is, they wouldn't have gone to jail if I hadn't done so many bad things to the imperial, it ended my whole family up in jail!" She cries. I wrap my arm around her, her cheeks had tears streaming down them, her eyes were bloodshot, and her whole face was red. She eventually stopped crying and her face went back to normal, it didn't look like a thing happened at all. The imperial's came and started rallying us up to help them find coal. I had Kallas watching me like a hawk which made me feel uncomfortable. If Zeb was here, he'd make Kallus his punching bag like how Kallus made me. He would occasionally beat me up for no reason like how Gianna said he would. I eventually get mad and try and pushing Kallus off the ground but he dodges me. I obviously wasn't thinking very much. My hands touch another imperial and he falls off the ground falling to his death. What have I done? I ask myself. Kallus becomes furious, and grabs me and takes me away, out of all the things that are going on right now, I would be fine if Chopper, came and saved me.Ezra's POV
IT FELT like centuries were just passing right by me. Of course it's harder to tell time when your sitting in total darkness. I never thought of my mind being such a scary place. I wanted to wake up, to see the crew, to bust Sabine out. She can't wait much longer, to the Empire she is most likely better off dead than staying alive and working for them. I would rather have her die than her working for them forever, she wouldn't be the unique person she is. She would have no character, no personality, no control in her mind at all. She would just be another brainwashed slave that we'd eventually have to kill. I waited longer thinking about the crew, Sabine in prison, how long this ghost was taking. Yes, I knew as a Jedi I need to be patient, but it's hard keeping your patience when it's hard just to keep yourself sane. I look up in leap backwards five feet, the ghost of the future was standing right in front of me. He was silver and dull, his smile was more warmer than the present's but not as much as the past's. "Why hello, Ezra." He says soft but loudly. "Uh, hey." I say awkwardly, talking to ghosts aren't much of a casual thing I do, if you haven't noticed. "I hope to take you on an, WHOA!" He looks alarmed. There's a large clash and it sounds like glass shattering, then a red lightsaber appears, so does Darth Vader.Zeb's POV
"ARE YOU alright?" An unfamiliar voice says behind me. I turn around and a Phoenix pilot looks at me with a worried face. "Eh- oh, yeah. I'm okay, why'd you ask?" I say trying not to sound rude. "You've been standing there for about three hours." She says, my eyes widen a bit. "You see my friends are just, how do I even explain this?" I ask myself, "Ones in a coma, ones in the hands of the Empire with a bounty on her head, the others are just so stressed out they snap at everything that looks, speaks, even stands in the same room as them." I tell her. "You must be Zeb, I've heard about you." She says. I nod, "Who are you?" I ask. "Julianna." She tells me.
"Just Julianna?" I say in a teasing tone.
"Mhm, my dad left me when I was too young to remember. My mom had a disability and didn't know our last name, I'm surprised she knew my first name." She says.
I frown, "Oh, uh sorry." I say scratching my head. She smiles a bit, "It's fine, I gotta go. New mission is about to take place." I nod and she waves good bye as she walks to her ship. I turn around and get lost in my mind once again.Kanan's POV
I WALK into Ezra's hospital room. He was finally at the right temperature so he could just lay in a bed now. He looked life less, his cheeks had no color, he seemed not to be breathing at all, and his body was just totally limp. I rest my hand on his shoulder, of course nothing happens though. After a few minutes of it being dead silent in the room I walk out. I walk into another room, Hera angrily looks at the hologram that has Sabine's face on it. "You found Sabine!" I exclaim. Hera's face sadly looks back at me.
"What's wrong?" I ask.
"Sabine, she's going to be brainwashed into an imperial."Authors Note:
