Fear. There's a difference between a child fear, and a real life scaring fear. We all have a lot of little child fears. But we all only have one life scaring fear. And mine, was losing the people I love, and today I wasn't planning on making this fear come true.

As soon as I got off the phone with calum, I raced out of the house and quickly got out into my car. I tried again to call him as I rushed down the road.

No answer.

"God calum, what's wrong?"

I think of everything that could have gone wrong on my quick ride over there. He lives about 20 minutes away but I drove hella fast and got there in about 5.

I run out of my car and walked up to his apartment complex and hold down his buzzer.

"Who is it?" I hear a shaky voice on the other side of the intercom.

"Calum, it's me. Let me up."

Without saying a word, he pushes the button that allows me to come into his apartment.

As soon as he pushes it, I open up the door and run up the stairs. There is a strong pain in my chest but ignore it.

Dàmn this cancer. Who the fück doesn't have an elevator?

Knock. Knock.

"Calum open up its me."

No answer.

I reach down for the doorknob and see that it's unlocked so I quickly open the door to see calum laying on the floor, with a tear stained face.

"Calum, oh my god. What happened?" I go and pick him up from the floor and place him on my lap.

He just stared.

"Calum, what happened?"

"Why are you here?"

"You called me. Remember?"

"No, I don't remember."

"Calum what happened? Why are you crying and in the middle of the floor?"

"I'll woke up screaming. And I don't remember how I got here."

"Where's the guys?"

"I- I- I don't know. When I got here they weren't here."

"Okay calum. I need you to tell me what exactly happened."

"I got home, they weren't here. So I just went to bed. I woke up screaming. This happens often. And I usually don't remember what happens after I wake up, I end up in weird places sometimes. The nightmares, they-they-they do this to me. They tear me apart."

"Calum, it's okay. I'm here now." I pull him closer to me and I sit there with him.

"Princess?"

"Yes?"

"Why are you still here with me? Why haven't you left? They usually all leave me..."

"Calum look at me." I pull his chin so he looks at me. "I'm always gonna be here for you. Always. Just don't give up on me."

"I wouldnt ever, Vi."

We sit there for another hour or so in complete silence, calum laying on my lap. After the first twenty minutes of us sitting there I fell asleep. I woke up to him getting up and putting me on top of him, so I was on his lap.

"Calum, how'd you get her here?"

Is all I hear.

Michael....

"Mike.....I can hear you. But I should probably get home my mom is gonna kill me." I say looking at his blushing face.

"Uh, yeah. See ya later Violet." He says blushing like crazy. Aw he's such a little kitten.

"Bye Cal. I'll see you soon." I reach down and he kissing me on the forehead.
