The optimist one

Camila walks in the diner and sees Lauren sitting in a booth wearing all black with some dog tags. She walks over with the biggest grin as Lauren gets up to hug her and gives her a kiss. They sit down and don't even know what to say. They sit and stare but it wasn't a 'weird awkward' stare, it was a 'I miss you in every and I mean every way' stare. As they are doing that they don't even notice the waitress standing there.

Waitress Max: "Okay, I'm sorry to interrupt this episode of 'Dased and Confused' but somebody needs to order"
As they snap out of it Lauren says: "Sorry um two sprites and I would like--"and before she could even finish Camila cuts in saying" that will be all for now, thank you.!"

As the waitress walks away Lauren asks Camila "Okay, what was that about" she said with a small giggle.
Camila:" Look I'm gonna tell you something but I'm not sure how you are gonna take it and if you get upset I don't want you to get mad or something or like--" Lauren cuts in grabbing Camila's hands "Just tell me"
Camila:" Okay so you know how I've been in Miami for the Victoria's Secret modeling thing" Lauren nods her head smiling " Okay well I got it"
Lauren:" Babe, that's so amazing, I wouldn't be upset about that"
Camila:" Yeah, well that's not it " she says under her breath "Well it requires a lot of traveling and Ms.Rodriguez thinks I should leave early since I start in 2 days back in Miami"
Lauren's face never stopped smiling "Okay, well how early?"
Camila: "At 5 in the morning"
Lauren:" Well I guess we have the night"
Camila smiling says "Well I guess we do"

Their little date ends and it's about 9 now and Lauren explained how she wanted to go see a movie but only because she was worried. Camila with out even thinking says "Hey let's do it, it's only about 9"
Lauren :" Alright" and in the back of her head she has also of these questions about her trip like ' what are they' 'is she gonna find some else out there' 'how long was she gonna be gone' ' did she get attached' but Lauren didn't ask or say much after she told her in fact. She just didn't know what to do.

When the movie was done Camila realized it was almost midnight so she called herself a uber. She gets to the car and turns around holding both of Lauren's hands now saying" I had really great time and now I'm gonna miss you baby" putting on a cute fake pouty face putting her arms around Lauren's neck and Lauren with her had around Camila's waist pulling them together leaving no space between them.
Lauren:" Baby girl I wish you could stay" bitting her bottom lip looking up and down at Camila's eyes and lips.
Camila:" I do too but I have to go.....for now" she says as she starts kissing Lauren in the most romantic way. She pulls away as she gets in the uber. Lauren taps the car saying "Till we meet again" both smiling as the uber pulls off.

It's almost two o'clock in the morning and Camila hasn't fallen to sleep yet. Her head was just running with questions ' why was she so calm about it?' 'why was she so quiet tonight?' ' Should I even be leaving tonight?' But all she she knew was that her career comes first before anything.....but does it really if she is risking spending time with her in public increasing the chances of them getting caught again?
