Your POV

Having fresh clothing on, and having a proper bandage on my calf felt exceptionally nice. I sat on the edge of a bed in the infirmary of the base Yavin 4, swinging my legs back and fourth. I was beyond bored. Several tests on who knows what had been given to me. The nurse that was working with me said several things about what she was doing, but it didn't make any sense to me. Then again I wasn't really paying attention.

I was more concerned about what was going on with the rebels and the death star. I knew plans were being made, but I didn't exactly know what they were. Something needed to be done, I knew that much. Many lives were at stake, and I guess as a princess it was my job to help save them? Not quite sure how I fit into the mess, but I felt useless doing nothing.

"You should be good to go madam. Your leg will most likely be sore, so try not to walk on it any more than you have to," the nurse said, shooting me a wink and breaking me from my thoughts.

Finally "Thank you," I said, and as she walked away I began to stand up.

"You look better already," a voice erupted from behind me.

I whipped my head around, looking at a smiling Leia.

"Yeah, I guess. What are the rebels planning?" I questioned getting straight to the point.

"We're making a bold move, in maybe a half hour our best pilots are going to destroy the death star."

"What are Luke and Han doing?" I questioned.

"Luke's piloting," Leia said.

My eyes widened, "Is he prepared for that?"

"I believe so, and he seems to as well. I think that's all that really matters."

"Does that mean Han is piloting as well?"

A slow smile spread across Leia's face, "No, he's getting ready to leave. Seems like he has some important business to attend too."

"What?" I blurted, my mouth dropping open.

"I don't think he's left yet, but why do you care? He can only hold you back (y/n) you have such great potential."

I clenched my jaw, ignoring every word coming out of her mouth. I dashed around her, ignoring the growing pain in my leg. Leaving? What the actual hell? If he thought he was getting out of my life again he had another thing coming. I have a hard time believing he would leave me again, he wouldn't do that... right?

I ran around the rebel base frantically, desperate to not be defeated so easily. The base wasn't particularly large, the fact was I had just never been here before. I managed to take some right turns and found myself in the space where the Millenium Falcon was stationed. How? I have no clue.

Chewbacca seemed to be working on something, and didn't exactly acknowledge that I was there. I looked around for Han, mentally screaming that this couldn't happen. I made my way towards the entrance to the Falcon, walking up the steep ramp. Chewy finally noticed me and let out a surprised cry. I ignored him and proceeded forward. I scanned the corridors and finally found Han laying on the ground. His upper torso was underneath a section of a wall that seemed to have been removed, and he had a tool box next to him.

"What the hell?" I exclaimed.

Han let out a grunt and slid out from underneath the wall, glancing up at me. His face was smudged with oil, and his hair was messy.

"The princess lives. Nice to see you too," he said, rising to talk to me.

"You're leaving?" I questioned, ignoring his remarks.
