Jabba's Monster

Your POV

Chains, that's what I had to deal with. Two long chains were wrapped around my hands, the chains themselves weren't the bad part, it was the person on the other end. Boba Fett yanked me along harshly as we walked towards the main room in Jabba's Palace.

Jabba himself was being toted in front of me, Leia stuck next to him. She wore a slave costume that was degrading to say the least. Han was taken away from me, probably to be stuck in a cell somewhere until Jabba finished humiliating me.

I could escape, the problem was everyone else I had to look after. Just because they wouldn't be able to contain me, doesn't mean they wouldn't be able to contain Leia, or Lando.

Fett yanked on my chains hard, urging me forward faster. He slowed his walking so we were side by side.

"I knew I couldn't trust you," he hissed into my ear.

I didn't have to see his face to know he had a smug look on it. I let out a shaky breath, trying to keep my composure. We had finally reached the main room, and Jabba sat back in his regular place. Fett threw me in front of Jabba roughly. I wanted to kill him.

"You have proven yourself a traitor," Jabba said in his unique dialect.

"I am not a traitor, and you will forget this happened," I said, attempting a mind trick.

Jabba's expression wavered, but he laughed it off, "For this, you shall be punished."

Jabba made a gesture towards a man standing near a control panel. I had been here long enough to know what he was going to do, but my predicament wasn't a good one.

"Jabba," a voice rang out through the palace, the main room fell into silence for a moment.

I craned my neck behind me. When did he get here? Sneaky, sneaky. Luke emerged from one of the many hallways. He wore solid black clothing relatively similar to mine, and a cloak flowed around him.

"I'm here to bargain for my friends," Luke said as he walked next to me.

I wanted to scream at him that we were standing in a terrible place to stand, but I was afraid of making the situation worse.

"Bargain?" Jabba said through a laugh.

"Yes, if you let me friends go, there will be no casualties," Luke said, and Jabba laughed again. Luke continued, "You will let my friends go now."

"Jedi mind tricks do not work on me," Jabba said angrily.

"Master look out!" C-3PO yelled from a distance as the guard by the control panel smashed down the button.

The floor beneath our feet gave away. I yanked my chains as hard as I could, pulling Fett off his feet. He fell to the ground as was being dragged by my weight. He slowed my fall substantially. He shot at the chains connecting him and I just as he was about to fall into the pit. My hands free, I bellowed into the ground.

I landed on my feet and rolled to my side, softening the impact.

"Nice of you to drop by," Luke said.

He stood a few feet away from me, staring worriedly at a large monster. Several sets of teeth protruded from the monsters mouth, he was large and hideous. The monster let out a snarl, and began coming towards us.

I locked eyes with Luke for a moment, and then I knew what I had to do. I ran forwards, directly in front of the monster. I flailed my arms around my frame.

"Hey ugly! Come and get me," I shouted towards the monster.

The monster snarled at me, turning its body from Luke. I ran away from the monster, its footsteps towards me made loud thud noises. A chorus of cheers erupted from above us as I reached as far as I could run.

I pressed my back into the cold cave wall, the monster coming at me at a hurried speed.

"(Y/n)!" Luke shouted from behind the large monster.

I closed my eyes for a moment, giving myself courage. As Luke hit the large button that controlled the gate that caged the monster, I dashed forward. The monster slashed down at me, but I ducked, running in between the creature's legs. I ran through the gate, and barreled into Luke, knocking him off his feet. In my defense, I wasn't exactly worried about what was in front of me.

Luke let out a groan, just as the monster made contact with the large spiky gate. I looked away as the monster's life rushed from its eyes.

"Sorry," I mumbled standing up with Luke.

We walked towards the exit together, only to be greeted by hundreds of angry people. Jabba cackled as several spears pointed towards my face.

The sun radiated heat onto my body as I was pushed onto a sand shuttle. Several guards, and some of my friends already stood on the shuttle. Lando, who hopefully hadn't been discovered yet, stood next to Boba Fett, who stood next too Chewbacca and Han. My hands were shackled again, but I rushed towards the two anyway. Luke was on my heels, and several guards were on his. I buried my face into Han's chest, just to be yanked back harshly by one of the guards.

"Good to see you," I said through a strained smile.

"Wish I could say the same Princess," Han said, not quite looking at my face. "It's better now though," he continued, "I can see shapes."

"That's good," I murmured as our sand shuttle began to soar through the sand dunes. We were being led to the Sarlacc Pits, probably to be harshly executed, as if we were going to let that happen.

Our shuttle came to an abrupt stop as I heard the snarls and slurp sounds erupting form below us.

"Remember the good old days? Back when we were just learning to resent sand," Han said.

I laughed, remembering when Han and I used to roam Tatooine together.

"Wait, you lived here too?" Luke asked.

"Long story," Han and I said in unison.

Another ship full of guards stopped next to us, and Jabba's large contraption stopped several yards away.

"You're first," Boba Fett said as several guards grabbed onto Luke.

Luke walked towards the plank they had created for us. I stepped closer to the edge of the ship, I was going on a limb, but hopefully I wouldn't die. As Luke reached the edge of the plank, he glanced towards R2, who was on Jabba's ship, but could hopefully see us. He then glanced at Han and Chewy, and finally he looked at me. I nodded my head and he jumped.

The second his feet left the plank I swung my body around, wrapping myself in the chains. I then jumped over the side of the shuttle, and swung towards the ground.
