Jesy's P.O.V.:
I have to admit, Jaden was very good and towards the middle, I was dancing backstage with Moises and Mateo. I was enjoying myself and the music. When Jaden came off stage, I couldn't help but smile at him. He smiled back, "Did you like it?"
I nodded my head, biting my lip to try and stop my smile from growing any bigger, "I thought you were incredible. I didn't know you were... a rapper... AND with your own clothing line. Moises and Mateo had to inform me in all of that because you didn't." I smirked, kidding about my anger.
"I didn't know how to tell you so I just showed you," he smiled at me and I could feel myself going weak in the knees. "Are you mad I didn't tell you before?"
"Of course not," I couldn't help but smile. How could I be mad at him? Like, seriously!
"Come on children, let's go get something to eat," Mateo said pushing Jaden, Moises, and I towards the SUV.
Jaden's P.O.V.:
During the whole time I was on stage I was nervous that she would be upset that I didn't tell her before that we were going to my concert, but her reaction was way different. She liked it and was smiling. I was relieved when she said she wasn't upset.
Lunch was full of laughs and jokes. During most of it, I was focusing on Jesy; the way Mateo and Moises got along with her so well and she seemed to really like them. I've never introduced a girl to them that they have actually liked and approved of, this is the first one.
"What do you think Jaden?" I heard someone say causing me to look away from Jesy.
"Huh? What did you ask?" Moises smirked; obviously he knew why I didn't hear what the previous question was.
"I said, why don't we go down to carnival?" Moises asked, again.
I looked beside, at Jesy, "What do you say? Do you want to?"
She smiled and nodded. I looked back at Moises and Mateo, "Let's go, then."
As we drove closer to the carnival, my phone vibrated, notifying me that I got a text message. It was from Moises, who was in the front seat.
I Can Tell How Into Her You Are.
I replied back, I Know, It's Crazy Man. We arrived at the carnival and I got out, helping Jesy out as well.
The whole night, we played games and rode rides. I even got to hold Jesy's hand because she was scared on one of the rides and afterwards, I won her a stuffed animal. We were all having fun and messing around, it was a great time.
"Hey, guys. I should probably get home," Jesy said as we stopped to get drinks.
"Aw, come on, don't be a fun killer," Mateo joked.
"I'll take her home and then come back for you guys," I said, eyeing them, meaning for them to not argue and go with it. They both nodded their heads and Jesy and I walked out of the carnival.
"You didn't have to leave your friends, I could of called my mom."
I wrapped my arm around Jesy, pulling her closer, "What kind of person would I look like to your mom if I let that happen? And, plus, you are my friend."
"Well, thank you... friend," Jesy smiled at me as she said 'friend'.
"Thanks for today, Jaden. It was great." Jesy said as we approached her front door.
"I'm glad you enjoyed it. Maybe we can do again, soon." I really wanted to see her again, become closer to her. She's a cool girl and she just moved here so I could help her make new friends.
"Maybe so." I could tell by her voice that she knew I was trying to flirt with her.
"Do you think I could have your n-number? Ya know so we can hang out again?" Dammit! I started and then I tried to play it off, I was being too obvious today!
"Of course," Jesy held out her hand and I handed her my phone. She typed in her name and number and then handed it back to me. "Goodnight, Jaden," before I could say anything back she turned around and walked inside.
I walked back to the car and texted her. Goodnight Beautiful. If I would of said that in person I would have stuttered and sounded less confident than I do when texting. Good thing I said it through text.
