Jesy’s P.O.V.:
“Mom,” I drug out as I entered the new house. I didn’t want to just walk around because I didn’t know where anything was, but from the foyer area I could see what seemed to be the living room to my right, a stair case and maybe a game room to my left and then straight ahead was a hall. I walked down the hall, slowly and cautiously and came upon the kitchen where my mom was unpacking dishes. “Hey mom.”
“Oh, hey honey. I didn’t hear you come in,” she said as she put away the plates that were in her hand.
“I didn’t want to say this in front of James but this house is huge, how did he afford it?” I whispered but apparently not quiet enough because James came through the kitchen door way talking.
“I have a well-paying job and thought that since it wouldn’t be just me anymore, that I should get a bigger house,” James answered.
He didn’t look like he got paid much money by the way he dressed, “But it’s only three people.”
“You never know,” James said, winking at my mother causing her to blush. This is not my mother! She has never done this before and it’s kind of freaking me out.
“Uh,” I dragged it out in awkwardness, “Mom, can you show me around please.”
“Sure honey,” she put down the remaining place and then gave me a tour of downstairs. Downstairs there was the living room, kitchen, dining room, two spare bedrooms, a game room that also had an indoor pool. As we were upstairs, she showed me, more spare rooms, her and James’ room, a work out room, and then lastly my room. My mom had paid a designer to come and decorate it and I loved it.
“Uh, mom,” I stopped her before she could leave, “I was wondering if I could go to a concert tomorrow with Jaden and his friends.”
“I’ll think about it. Now, get unpacking and then get some sleep, okay?”
I nodded my head ‘okay’ and then got to unpacking my boxes of clothes.
Lindsey’s P.O.V. (Jesy’s mom):
“Hey, James,” I said as I came downstairs and into the living room.
“Ya?” He asked.
I sat down beside him and he wrapped his arm around me rubbing my arm, “Jesy asked to go to a concert tomorrow with that boy, Jaden, and his friends.”
“Okay, and?”
“We don’t know anything about this guy.”
“I didn’t know if I should tell you but Jaden looks awfully familiar and I think my brother may even manage him. I could call him and get some information on him.”
“Could you seriously?” I asked, as I sat up straight.
“Yes, of course.”
James pulled out his phone and dialed his brother’s number. After they talked for a few minutes, he hung up and looked at me with hopeful eyes, “He said that Jaden was a good, trustworthy kid.” His eyes changed, “But he also said that Jaden has a concert tomorrow.”
“So, what does that mean?”
“Either, he forgot about it and his going to have to cancel or he’s going to bring her to his concert,” he paused, “Jacob said that it was very unlikely for Jaden to bring her though because he’s only brought one girl to his concert, and that’s because they dated for almost 2 years.”
“My baby’s heart is going to be broken.” I said, meaning for myself but James heard.
“Not necessarily, he may want to take her, who knows? Jacob said that if Jaden does bring Jesy to his concert that he’ll watch after her.”
Jesy’s P.O.V.:
I was walking downstairs, to tell my mom goodnight but got hers and James’ conversation, instead. I sat quietly on the stairs and listened.
So… Jaden was either going to cancel on me or he was taking me to his concert, wait… HIS concert? Does that mean his like… a singer or rapper? I quickly ran up the stairs and jumped into bed. My head was spinning with so many questions; I couldn’t even understand them all.
Soon all those questions stopped as I fell asleep.

I promsise you that the next chapter is going to be better and more shocking and longer!
I just needed to put this chapter in so I could write the next chapter.
The next chapter is all going to be the day of the concert!
