Red Fantasy-

A deep red light illuminated the dark room, awakening the sleeping girl from her slumber. She fixed her dazed eyes on the window and watched as they opened slowly eerily.

The thunder outside boomed sending goosebumps up her arms as water droplets fell into the wooden floor. A chill overcame her as a silhouette figure appeared near the opened window, two crimson eyes gazed at her. They were like a pool of blood that sucked you in until you were falling into their depths, with no way out.

In a flash the eyes were gone and her windows closed with a boom, her room now had a evil presence that made her heart accelerate.

Fionna covered herself with the wool blanket up to her nose, and her sapphire eyes darted over every piece and mantel searching for the owner of those eyes.

"Is anyone there?" She questioned loudly, her voice trembling.

Silence met her ears except for the thrashing rain from outside, she knew that she wasn't alone. Yet fear made her freeze on the bed knowing that whatever was in here with her was dangerous.

"Fionna," a deep husky voice whispered from beside her.

She turned swiftly to her right but there was nothing there but her nightstand and her lamp. Fionna sat up and reached for the lamp, and when she turned it on she was surprised to find her room empty.

She raked a hand through her hair in frustration, and stood up grabbing her crystal sword from the nightstand. The crystal glowed and transformed into its sword form, she positioned herself in a battle stand and searched for the intruder.

"Who goes there? Answer me you coward," Fionna demanded as she took a step forward. Her nightgown was just to her thighs so it was easy to move without tripping, the problem was that her hair was loose and falling down in waves to her feet.

"Boo!" A voice screamed from behind her making her gasp and fall forward in shock.

"Hahaa, damn you should have seen your face," a familiar voice laughed from behind her. "That was priceless," he chuckled.

"Marshall Lee!" Fionna snapped in anger as she stood up and turned to face the Vampire King.

Marshall was floating upside down his raven hair parted showing two pair of dark eyes shining in laughter, his lips formed in a smirk. He was grabbing his stomach as he laughed at her expression, his cheeks flushed from all the laughing.

"What are you doing here?" She questioned her cheeks flamed in embarrassment. "And stop laughing it isn't funny!" She demanded her arms crossed over her chest.

He turned his body so his feet were facing the ground and surpressed his laughter. "Just came to say hello on a wonderful night," he shrugged as he floated over to her bed and sat down on the edge. "Gosh no need to get your panties in a bunch," he smirked at her flushed face. "No need to blush so much either, babe," he teased.

"Shut up! I am not blushing!" She denied as her sword returned into a crystal and she set it down on the nightstand. Her heart was thumping wildly against her chest as she sat down on her bed and covered herself with the blanket, making sure Marshall didn't get a peek.

"No need to hide yourself, I already saw it," he said referring to the white nightgown that showed her figure. He wouldn't admit it but for a girl like her she had a nice shape.

"No you didn't," she narrowed her eyes in suspicion.

"I did, I also saw your red panties," he flicked out his tongue and barely avoided the pillow Fionna tossed toward him.

"Marshall Lee! Get out of my room!" She yelled furiously as she glared at his direction.

Marshall floated over on top of her body and gazed down at her with those ink black eyes. For a moment Fionna forgot about her anger as she saw the loneliness concealed by playfulness. It was as if she could see inside his soul, a hollow heart full of darkness.

Without knowing it her own arms defied her and wrapped around his neck pulling him down against her chest. He was surprised by her sudden mood change and hesitated over the idea to pull back and tease her. But he found himself silently liking her warmness and her touch so he stayed still, enjoying her action.

"You really are annoying Marshall Lee," Fionna muttered lowly, barely a whisper to him.

He chuckled at the statement and wrapped his own arms around her, "Stop denying it. You really like me don't you?"

"Really when are you going to stop, you idiot," she rolled her eyes and hugged him tighter. He smiled against her hair and pulled away, he searched her eyes for a second before leaning in.

Fionna had no time to react as his cold lips met her own, a wave of electricity traveled through her body at the contact. Her eyelids suddenly felt heavy and she found herself liking the way his lips felt against her own, they were smooth and warm. Was it possible that a vampire could be warm?

She dismissed the thought and melted into his embrace, her lips responding to his in a way she never knew of. Her breathing began to come out in small pants as one of his hands traveled down her back to her waist. A moan came from deep within Marshall's throat, as his tongue stroked the sweet mouth of the fair human.

He had never known humans could taste so delicious and sweet, almost like a peach. But since Fionna was the only human he had ever tasted he couldn't judge so quickly.

"Um...Marshall?" Fionna asked as his other hand lowered and touched her inner thigh. She gasped as his cold fingers stroked her skin, her stomach feeling warm and mushy.

"Hmnn? What is it?" He said as he pulled away and saw her red flushed face, her eyes were closed. "Fionna?"

He poked the side of her face and waited for her to respond, but she was quiet. Marshall raised an eyebrow and pinched her cheek waiting for some kind of attack from the blonde vixen, except he got a small snore.

"Pfftt," he covered his mouth to contain his laugh and floated off her body. It wasn't any fun when his prey was asleep, so he decided to leave and go to some night party. Hoping to scare the crap out of someone and sucking some color out of them.

Fionna stumbled out of bed her hair swaying side to side, her mind was fuzzy and her heart was throbbing from the dream she had last night.

Her cheeks flamed at remembering the so real dream about Marshall Lee being all nice and cool. It was as if she had really kissed him and felt his deathly icy hands on her skin.

She brought her hand up to her lips and softly caressed them, feeling her heart accelerate as she recalled the dream. Fionna shook her head and went downstairs, hearing the faint sound of Cake's voice as she talked. The aroma of pancakes reached her nose and as she entered the kitchen she paused in surprise. Her eyes widened slightly at the sight of Marshall sitting down on a chair, his hand holding a shining red apple.

"Yo, what up Fionna?" Marshall greeted his onyx eyes gleaming mischievously. "Did you have a nice dream about me?" He asked his lips forming into a knowing smirk.

Fionna felt her whole face and ears burn at his words, "Marshall Lee!"

Cake turned to look at Fionna from the stove and asked confused, "What's wrong with you Fionna?"

"Just admit you dreamed about me Fionna, no need to deny you love me," he teased with a wink.

Fionna charged forward and punched Marshall in the guts, her face full of fury. He moaned in pain and tried to float away from the angry human girl. "I am so going to get you Marshall, you idiot," Fionna stated with a smile.
