"Suddenly I fell in love all  over again...

'Sir yes sir!' Liam screams to his phone.

'Good Morning, Sunshines!' the sound of Liam's deep voice wakes up his wife and his 5 year old daughter, 'I prepared breakfast! Bacon, Eggs, and Pancakes! your favorites!' he continues.

'That's my soldier!' 'I hope the pancakes are not burnt this time though!' his wife, Princess, teases his husband.

'I'm a soldier not a chef, hun! Don't expect too much!'

After their family breakfast, Liam asks his wife to dress because they're going somewhere. A simple cute dress, he suggests.

'Where are we going, Liam?'

"Shhh! Just go dress up! It's a secret!'

Liam and Princess leaves their daughter at her Grandma's house, which happens to be just a few blocks away. After which they want to a restaurant- where they first met.

'Why are we here Liam?' Princess asked confused. 

'I just wanna date you again!' Liam says with enthusiasm, 'at least for the last time' he whispers to himself.

'What was that last one?'

'Nothing nothing! let's order now shall we?'

They ordered the same things- it's the family's favorites. 

'Why are you doing this, Liam?'

'Doing what?'

'This....you made breakfast for us, you took me out on a date. Not that I'm complaining, though.'

'Well, I promised myself to court you even if we're together already.' Liam answers.

Princess blushed but didn't get to reply because the food has arrived.

After a meaningful lunch date, Princess couldn't get her mind off why Liam was really doing those things.

'C'mon, Liam! The last time you did this was when you had a mis- OH MY GOD NO' Princess raised her voice and stood up. 'Don't tell me you have a m-'

'Honey, calm down!' Liam says in a soothing voice. '-But yes, I do have a mission'.

'I-I, I wanted to spend my last few hours with you- in the next 2 years at least. I got the orders yesterday. We would undergo training for months to prepare for the war, I can't go home not until that war is over...and also, I have to leave tomorrow morning.' Liam's voice went slow yet raspy, he knew that news would hurt Princess' heart.

'But Liam it's dangerous! What if you get hurt? What if you get ki-' Princess says as a tear fell down her eye.

'It's my job, Princess! It's a risk I have to take- just like how loving you was a risk that I have overcome and the best prize was being with you.' Liam answers. 

'Promise me you'll be back?' Princess says with fear filling up her body.

Liam stood up, hugged princess, and said: 'I promise.'

The next day

'Daddy, please don't leave us!' Their daughter runs to Liam and wraps her hands around his legs.

'When I come back, we would be stronger, Honey.' Liam comforts her daughter, but he wasn't able to comfort himself. Deep inside, this was a hard decision, a decision he was obliged to do.

Liam kissed princess on her forehead, 'You'll always be my queen', he says before he leaves.

A year and a few months later

'May I speak with Mrs. Payne, please?'

'Speaking.'

'I regret to inform you that during the war your husband has been shot.'

'WHAT?' Princess screams.

'But your husband is alive, he's unconscious but still alive. You may visit him at the hospital.'

'Give me the full address and details and I'll be on my way!' Princess rushed and called for a cab immediately. She prayed throughout the car ride.

Princess arrived at the hospital.

Soldiers bruised.

Blood.

The sound of despair.

Marks of heroism.

'Where's Mr. Liam Payne located?? I need to see my husband!' Princess shouted at the nurse on duty

'At room 415 ma'am.'

'Thank you! I'm sorry for shouting at you, I'm just really worried.' Princess apologized.

Princess arrived at room 415 and spoke a short prayer before she got in.

There were 2 men inside the room- 1 just died, 1 still fighting.

'Time of death: 8:25PM' the Doctor declared.

 He died because he got shot right at his heart- he died from saving Liam.

Princess approached Liam's bed, he wasn't conscious yet but the Doctors said he was still fighting. 

You won't notice Liam's face anymore though. it was all bruised filled with scratches and blood. You could also see where he was shot- at his shoulder. Just a few inches from his heart.

Liam has always been considered as an eligible bachelor before he married Princess. But now people are beginning to doubt if Princess would still love him if he wakes up looking like that, or worse- will he even wake up?

Princess was afraid of what might happen- she knew to herself that whatever Liam would look like she would still love him. But the thought of Liam not waking up was killing her.

Princess held Liam's hand and it felt the same- That's when she knew nothing has changed.

After that assurance, a few days later, Liam finally woke up. He's not as strong but he's alive and that's what matters.

Princess broke down as soon as she saw Liam open his eyes

'Just when I thought it was over, my love for you went even deeper.' She says as she cries.

'I promised I won't leave you but I knew I was willing to die for the person who gives me life.' Liam murmurs.
