"You just found this?" Lagravis, king of the Lions, asked, holding a beautifully wrapped package in both hands.

"That's right." Longtooth answered. "On the stairs. Leonidas nearly tripped over it. Twice."

Leonidas nodded. "I can't believe I tripped it twice."

"Next time, watch your footing." Lavertus  sighed.

"Who's it for?" Leonidas asked. "I couldn't see the tag."

Lagravis checked. "It's for Laval."

"What's for me?" Laval, the Lion prince, asked as he walked into the throne room.

"A present, I think." Lagravis replied, turning toward his son. "Longtooth found it and Leonidas tripped over it."

"Twice." Leonidas added.

"Sure did," Longtooth smiled. "Why don't you see what's in the box?"

Laval walked over to his father and carefully took the box. After carefully tearing away the paper, Laval removed the lid.

"Whoa." Laval gasped, pulling out a bracelet. It was the most beautiful bracelet he had ever seen. The bracelet was solid gold, with three jewels in the center. The middle and the largest one was bluish in color, the outer two were a deep shade of royal blue. There were about five lions delicately carved into the gold. It was certainly regal enough for a prince. Maybe enough for a king.

"Talk about a nice present," Lavertus said. "Try it on and make sure it fits."

Laval slid the bracelet on his wrist. "Perfect fit," He smiled. The bracelet sparkled in the torchlight and the light emitting from the Sacred pool.

"It looks nice on you." Lagravis grinned. Lavertus nodded as well.

"Thanks, dad." Laval's grin was even bigger. "I've got show my friends this. They're going to love it!" As he headed for the Speedor garage, Laval looked at his bracelet again. The bluish jewel seemed familiar. Then it hit Laval: The jewel was the same color as the jewel that the strangers had when they fell into Chima all those months before.
