"Jenna?"
Bang! Bang! Bang!
"Jenna dear? Wake up!" My mother's voice called through my bedroom door. "Mama? What time is it?" I called back, wiping the sleep from my eyes.
"Half nine. You have chores, honey." My mum said. "May I come in?" Well, at least she accepted my privacy...
"Yes Mama, of course you can." I called and with that she sauntered in a big smile on her face.
"Oh baby." She sighed happily walking towards my closet and whisking it open. "What shall you wear?" She asked blissfully.
"Wear?" I asked confused. "Mama? I don't have to dress up for chores mother? Do I?" I asked, confused. She laughed. "Of course not, dear. "For you date." She smiled.
Date? what date?
"What date mama?" I asked, confused as she pulled out a pair of black skinny jeans. "Oh Honey. Don't play dumb Jenna. I know that you met a boy."
She said in a stern, playful voice.
She pulled out a grey vest and a checkered button up shirt before shaking her head and putting them back "What boy Mama? You're being delusional, I met no boy." I said. "Oh hush. I'm not delusional, the boy you were texting last night.
I saw the messages this morning on your phone when he texted." She rambled, I gasped slapping my hand over my mouth. "Ma-Ma you didn't respect my privacy?" I screeched then added. "And he texted and you looked?" I gasped again. So much for privacy, I thoughy chucking my cover on the floor and diving in my bed to find my phone.
"Yes, darling it just went 'bring bring' and I was like, oh gossip and I found out it was a boy and- oh darling he said good morning with two kisses -oh and get ready he's coming at ten o'clock you must get ready and remember to be back by four-" she rambled but I cut in. "Ten?" I screeched as I finally found my phone.
9:45am, already?
I quickly picked up my jeans and attempted wiggling into them. Why won't bum go in. I jumped trying to pull them up while brushing my hair "OW. OUCH. OW. OW!" I groaned brushing the knotty from my bedhead.
Yes, it finally went in. "Calm down dear." My mum soothed, sitting me at my desk and giving me a white shirt. With the message I heart New York on it and my favourite hoodie.
"Put this on." she said, taking the brush. "Ok." I sighed. Putting it on quickly, before she got to work on my hair. She brushed it into a quiff like shape that hung down my back securing it away from my face with a bobby pin. "Thank you." I said, just as the doorbell rang. "I'll get it!" my mother sang as I rushed into the bathroom to brush my teeth.
"Hey?" I said coming down the stairs where my mother was smiling like an idiot at Raffi. "Hey Jenna." He smirked, looking me up and down. I felt heat rising to my cheeks and looked down at my converse. I felt so close to him already.
"Jenna?" My mum said making me look up "Be back by four you still have chores." I felt even more heat rush to my cheeks great.
Thanks mum!
"Ok. Great mum, shall we go?" I asked Raffia. "Yeah, come on." He chuckled before smiling at my mother. "Your beautiful daughter wants to go, so I'm afraid I do too. It's been nice talking Marie hope to do so again soon."
He smiled at me and moved to the side so I could move through. "That's so nice dear, but Jenna will be moving out next week to her own place, see she can't stay with me forever, no matter how nice that would be." My mother smiled sadly I felt a wave of guilt wash over me so I walked back in and hugged her. "Oh. Mama, we've been over this." I said, squeezing her tighter before walking towards Raffia's car. "Don't worry honey." My Ma called after me. "See you soon Maria I'll have her back at four." He called walking towards the car. "Thank you. Goodbye!" She waved before walking inside

We pulled up in a small diner. "So how did you know where I lived?" I asked, climbing out suddenly confuse. He chuckled. "Your mum texted me your address. Well soon to be old address?" "Oh, um. You see................. I don't wanna be a...... one of them girls who.... um..... are always stuck in I don't wanna be around my mum all the time, I don't want to have chores or at home time I want to come out like everyday..... To go places that I've never seen before." I smiled, cutting of my ramble before looking in his eyes. "I wanted to see and meet things nobody has ever seen before." I whispered, smiling. He smiled, then opened his mouth to say something, but...
"Hi! I'm Diana and I'll be your waitress this fine morning." She chirped with too much enthusiasm. "May I get you some drinks or possibly take your order?" She said with a big smile twirling one of her pigtails around. Her hair was dark brown near black and made her dark brown eyes pop. She licked her gloss covered lips that were a glittered pink and blinked her sparkly black eyelashes, which obviously have mascara and she also had a thin layer of glittery bronze eyeshadow. Damn, she liked glitter.
"I'll have a Classic cut beef sandwich, Jenna?" Raffia asked, bringing me out of my thoughts. "Oh, um I'll have a BLT roll please." I smiled at the waitress who looked about twenty, She forced a smile that was as fake as her voice.
"Your meals and orders will be over shortly, for now would you like a magazine with a review of our café." She asked, frowning down at at singular nail where some glitter had chipped off.
"No thank you, but I'd love it if you'd go away now." Raffia said smugly, she gasped and stomped away like a child. I tried to stop laughing, but I couldn't stop "Oh my god that was hilarious." I gasped between laughs. "She was intruding on a date." He smiled and I immediately froze. "A-A d-date?" I asked shakily. "Yeah a date." He smiled
