Becoming Luna

chapter twelve

i dropped the twig of a wolfs leg and watched it limp away. it howled loudly and the other wolfs ran towards me. the first one was faster its scar across its shoulder proving it was used to fighting. it snarled and launched itself at me i leaped out of the way and grabbed the other one by its throat. i swung around with it so i wouldn't rip its throat. it whimpered when i pinned it down. "it's only young we should keep it. it could tell us things." by now titan had taken over. i looked into the rogue eyes and saw fear and bravery. 'keep him alive.' was all i said. Titan lifted the wolf up and chucked him at a tree, the small wolf's eyes rolled back and then it fell. the second one pounced at me from my behind and tried to pin me down. i bucked by hip bones and it rolled off. it yelped and cut its ear on a thorn. i gave a chuckle and titan growled. the scarred wolf bowed in submission. Titan stood tall and put his nose up. loving the feeling of being obeyed. a loud growl was heard and as he opened his eyes a heavy paw scraped down my face i felt the blood rushing from my eyebrow and jaw mixing with the liquid from my eyeball. i whimpered and jumped away. my fur soaked with blood as i tried desperately to see. i looked at the wolf that stood shaking with rage as he looked around at the wolfs. he thought they were dead. Titan was their frozen in fear. the big wolf growled and pounced. Titan jumped and had it pinned by its neck its hind legs breaking my skin. titan let out a loud growl and let the juices from his eye drip onto his face. the wolf pushed harder with its legs and titan used all his strength and crushed his windpipe. the wolf went limp and titan ripped his head of. i ran back to the edge of the woods and saw my mate tucking in my pup at her bedroom window. my wolf whimpered. "we cant let them see us like this." he said lying down. 'i know' was all i said he looked up as my mate scanned the outside looking for us. (hey baby somethings happened.) i stated through mind link. i watched as she frowned and sat on my pups bed. [what? are you alright?] she asked. (i was attacked.) i mumbled ashamed. her eyes widened and her hand covered her mouth as i watched her walk away from the window. the light switched off and a few seconds later the porch light was on and she was out and leaning against the rail. titan shuffled back. [your OK right?] she asked. i sighed. it was breaking my heart my beautiful mate (i can't come home, I'm going to the pack. don't follow me. promise you won't get into trouble.) Titan whimpered as her face contorted into one of pain she walked to the stairs but hesitated when her hand reached for the rail. she turned her had and looked up at Leilia's window. [baby it can't of been that bad.] she asked even from here i could see the tears and my chest tightened. (I'm sorry baby but i'll visit one day and you can too. Rabbit will help you i'll send him in a couple of day.) i said backing away slowly. her face turned to panic and she wrapped her arms around each herself. [baby please? please Raffia?] (sorry.) tears spilled and her body started to shake and i made titan turn. i shifted into my human form and instantly winced at the pain. i took some tree sap and out lined my left section of my face as far of my jaw and ear. i found a big leaf and smoothed it down wincing from the bruising being made from the gash. i waited for it to dry and sat against the tree. i heard my mate shut the door and after five minuets a torch was shinning through the forest i moved my leg and when it moved away i saw my pup sitting at the window with her fingers crossed.

end of flash back.

721 words and i know its short from my other chapters but it's is just a filler. i didn't feel right to add anymore after the flashback. i can't quite capture the emotion of loosing a loved one in that way. not of a child anyway. so yeah just a filler so i will be updating again in the next couple of days.

and i will start working on editing when i have time. so i only finished it off like this because i was reading this other wolf story and it just came into my head. i was sat there reading when i thought that's how I'm going to do it. it didn't have anything about what i wrote but it had a family conflict bit.

so yeah.
