Chapter 33. Part 2

***Christians PoV.***

"I'm sorry." I whispered to my mate. She laid on the hospital bed beside me, asleep.

Her face was calm and content, but every now and again it would screw up and tense in pain.

It killed me. It killed me to see her like this. I had done this to her.

Out of jealousy.

Bobby contacted some pack members after I passed out. Now not only did I have the guilt of attacking Leilia, but the guilt of attacking an innocent pack member.

My job is to protect the pack. To lead them, my job wasn't to harm them for protecting their Luna. Or anyone for that matter.

It wasn't me.

That's what I kept telling myself.

It wasn't me, I wasn't in control.

It was true, I could barly remember anything. It was like total and utter darkness after the first day.

I had ran away for a chance to collect myself, a chance to reign in my emotions. I still couldn't believe I let Titan bite her.

Still, it was my jealousy that added to his. I shouldn't of lied, not about my mate anyway.

I wondered what my pack would think of me now. Did they not want to follow me anymore? Did they want their old Alpha back?

I know some still remained tied to Raffia, and I was fine with that. I wasn't in his blood stream anyway.

I would understand if they want him back and if he agree's, I will gladly give him it back with the condition that I stay in the pack and my beta and third keep their places.

I had promised Alister the position of Beta after witnessing him train, it was clear that he should of already been finished with training and out as one of the top guards.

He could beat his opponent in ten seconds flat in his human form, he was also one of the fastest runners.

Bobby however knew everything about other unnatural creatures, fast, loyal and always helped out in any jobs in the pack. Not to mention the way he cared for the young.

I had gotten information from Alister who got it from Feo about what happened at the beach.

Sure it made me irritated but to him, back then, she had upset one of pup's.

He obviously didn't take in the fact that she was just as under taught about our culture as the pup's and should be treated like one in certain matters.

"Hello, Christian." Hazel beamed. She was one of the pack members who's total trust and loyalty will always lie with Raffia. It didn't however give her permission to say my name.

"Hazel." I croaked, sending a disapproving stage her way. "You know, very well that you must address me in a formal manner.

At least until or 1if I step down." I said. She smiled. "Okay. Sir... how are you feeling?" She asks.

"I'm fine, how much pain has she been in?" I asked. She smiled at me.

"Its been on and off, latly though it has been more intense." She she frowned. Her eyebrows furrowing, in confusion and concern.

"I have a theory that maybe she heals faster than most. All though the pain seemed to be that intense that she could barly stand. She was also heating up terribly almost like. Almost like she was going into heat." She explained.

I sighed, my feelings have never interfered with my duties before and now they are.

It's like she's in my thoughts twenty-four-seven. It's just her looks, her personality, the way she thinks, how she smells.

Alister meet me in my office.

Time to figure out what had gone on in my absence.

It was 8:00pm and I couldn't get knick of sleep. I had tried to get a connection with Titan but he hasn't talked to me. I had carried my mate back to her room and Bobby promised to check on her on a few hours.

He had forgiven me and said that she was my mate and he should of known better to give her one of his shirts.

I still felt the guilt and I knew that because they were friends more jealousy would come my way.

I didn't want him near her but I remembered how upset she got when I attacked him. If I hadn't know better, is think that she had some kind of connection to him.

Yet that wasn't possible she was my mate, I was sure of it. I noticed that at didn't get along with Nessy.

Speaking of, Nessy was sceduled a leave in a few days. She wasn't happy about leaving but said she understood that I had found my mate and needed to find her's too.

I wouldn't give up my friendship with her though, we were childhood friends. She had always been a part of my pack and always will.

***11:00pm.***

I couldn't sleep I had even shifted to get and find peace yet none had come. I was getting more and more frustrated with each passing minute my body longed to sleep yet it just wouldn't come.

My mind ran from guilt to jealousy and to what the pack would think. Letting out a frustated growl I flipped over in bed again.

A few minutes of tossing and turning came to a abrupt stop. A small knock sounded shaking me out of my frustrated state and imeaditly I knew it was her.

"Leilia you're my mate. You don't have to knock." I said. I heard her sigh before she walked in.

"I can't sleep." She mumbled. I want to stand up but imeaditly stopped realising I was naked from where I shifted.

"I shifted a few minutes ago. If it will make you more comfortable you should turn so I can pull some trousers on." I said. Her face turned bright red and I smirked as she squeaked an. "Okay." Before she spun around. Letting, out a chuckle I quickly pulled on a pair of sweat's before walking up behind her.

"You're going to see me naked soon enough, anyway." I whispered in her ear.

Her body tensed up and I chuckled darkly into her ear. Wrapping my arms around her body I kissed up her neck slowly before licking a straight line, up her throat.

A small moan escaped her before i gently blew on it. She gasped and I turned her head with my finger and kissed her firmly.

This will defintly help me sleep.

New chapter!! It's finally getting steamy!!!

This may only be chapter 33 but it is actually part 50. Which means that I'm going to have to start figuring at a way to end it. *crys for half an hour.*
