I woke up dazed and confused. My wolf was wide awake and humming loudly. I glanced around and frowned at the empty spot beside me.

I looked around confused. Where had he gone? I stood up and headed to his ensuite bathroom. I looked at the mirror as the bath filled.

I gasped at the mark on my neck. It was two wolves howling up at a red moon. I gently touched it and smiled lightly when it buzzed.

'Morning my mate.' Christian's voice echoed throughout my head and I smiled softly.

I dropped the sheet and slowly slid into the bath. 'Where are you? You weren't there when I woke up.' I mumbled and heard him chuckle.

'I have to train my pack mate. It's Bobby's first day of training.' He said hesitantly. My smile grew, I knew he didn't like Bobby yet he was still honest.

'Did you see the mark?'

'my mark, mate and yes I was quite astonished by it. It's the same as my great grandfathers.' He informed me as I circled it with my finger.

'We'll talk later my little mate. For now enjoy you're bath.' He said and then it was like a connection being severed.

I scrunched my nose in confusion before sinking further into the warm embrace of the water.

***Christian's PoV.***

I looked over at Leilia's sleeping form and smiled. She's so beautiful. I thought as I watched snuggle deeper into my sheet's.

Her wolf's name is Keira. Titan said as I stared down at her. I don't want to leave them. I told him.

Then don't.

I have to Bobby is ready to become third. I replied before cutting the link.

"The most important thing when in conflict Is to be aware of your surrounding's, the best way to do this in an unfamiliar territory is to tap into tour senses and I don't just mean how your doing right now.

I mean raw, primal, predatory senses. It is very important not to lose control once tapped in. Becoming rogue is not an option." Alister informed the people.

This was the first thing we said to pack members in the first stage of training. It was an hour long speech and was very annoying.

I cleared my throats. "For mated wolves it will be easier to hold on to yourself. The thought and love of your mates will keep you intact to your humanity. For..... Unmated wolves I recommend thinking about loved ones.

Your girlfriend, boyfriend, brother's, sister's, mom's. You think about the pack members. People that are counting on you to protect them. Children, women, men and unborn wolf cubs. You think about every life your saving." I said loudly, clearly.

It was important that these men valued what they were saving otherwise we'd have to kill them when they turned rogue.

"From now on that's what we'll be working on. Control. You'll learn defence, hand to hand, man to beast and beast to beast." Mike butted in. As one of our best fighters he had just about every right to be here.

"Danial's, Evan's, Lyle! You're with me." Mike said before walking out, quickly followed by three wolves.

There was only seven today and I was going to be focused on Bobby because he should of been trained years ago.

"Devon, Trina and Irina. You three follow me." Alister muttered before leaving.

Bobby watched them leave before standing up, he slowly walked towards me and after a couple of steps he turned his head exposing his neck in a show of submission before turning back.

"The woods?" He asked and I nodded, letting him go first.

Leilia's touching her mark. Titan said as I followed Bobby through the wood's.

I smirked and closed my eyes briefly seeing my mate touch her mark.

'Morning my mate.' I said through mind link. Feeling her happiness made me smile.

'Where are you?' I chuckled softly at her confusion. '-You weren't there when I woke up.' She finished.

I immediately felt guilty but chuckled at how clingy she was already. I didn't want to leave her but Alister reminded me it was the third that we were training and I couldn't say no.

'I have to train my pack, mate.' I told her true-fully. I then sighed and decided not to lie to her. 'It's Bobby's first day of training.' I added.

I sensed her amusement and rolled my eyes. 'Did you see the mark.' She asked causing Titan to laugh.

Did we see it? He said like it was obvious.

'My mark, mate and yes I was quite astonished by it.' I said pitting emphasis on the my. She's mine now, I don't need to worry about bobby anymore. 'It's the same as my great grandfather's.'

I said recalling ny grandad showing me pictures of his mothers rare mark. I looked up hearing Bobby clear his throat.

I sighed. I quickly tapped back into her surroundings and chuckled seeing her long legs in the bath. 'We'll talk later my little mate. For now enjoy you're bath.' I said before cutting the link and looking back at Bobby.

"Close your eye's." I said and he took a breath as he did. "Now. Tell me what's the faintest scent you can pick up." I said watching his body relax and his nose move as he inhaled.

I could smell behind the lake from here. The faintest smell was a chocolate bar melting on a concrete surface in a town an hours drive from here.

"I can smell.... A rotting plum a few hundred yards." I chuckled. "Wrong." I muttered and if on cue his eyes opened. He raised his head in defiance.

"What's the right answer." He asked gruffly. "There is a chocolate bar melting in the town that's an hours drive. The one just a few streets away from that beach." I said smugly and he glared at me.

"What's the faintest sound." I asked. Repeating the process.

In the opposite direction of the chocolate bar, there was a baby's heart beat still in the womb. Up in the city where the mother was breaking the news to her mum.

"There's a bear cub up north calling its mother." He said, I nodded. "Good but its still in the woods listen further. A baby just on the edge of the city in the mothers womb and a healthy heart beat. The mother in which is now telling her mother the news."

He growled and closed his eyes again.

This is going to be a long day. Titan said and I agreed with him.
