chapter 16. who's the Alpha

The air was buzzing. Literally buzzing with whispers. I woke up with women dressed as maids in little black french maid dresses. I woke up and screamed because there was a bum in my face. "Oh my god!!" I yelped jumping to the over side of the bed. Effectively making the other five woman jump and scream. The one which had her bum in my face spun around blushing like a ripe tomato. "Oh Madam. I'm sorry. We just-" she started to say before a blonde ran over and shrugged a cleaning rag in her face. "Shhh. The whole house agreed that she." She pointed her long slender finger in my direction. "Will find out from him and him only!!" She hissed lowly. I actually cowered away from the venom in her voice, the first maid nodded her head violently. "Uh uh uh yes um.... sorry miss we had orders to clean for Alpha?" she said still looking at the feisty blonde. The blonde nodded satisfied before ordering everyone out, as they left she waved goodbye and slammed the old oak door. I let out a breath and relaxed my entire body before standing up in my pink cotton hot pants and grey soft vest. Alpha? what the f*ck is an Alpha? Is it a name? Probably. I nodded to myself before deciding to get dressed.

I picked out a pink strapped support vest that pushed my cleavage slightly up and held them in place, with grey jean shorts and a pair of old zebra styled flats. I brushed my hair through, beofore I curled it and pinned it up with a nice pink clip. I applied light gloss and a little eyeliner before applying spot reliever to the white heads on the corner of my chin. I texted everyone that could possibly come look for me l, that I will be in the kitchen before walking at the door. That's when I heard it the constant buzz of people gathered outside of doors and corners talking about him. "I heard that Alpha's coming back!" "Do you think he knows about Raffia's family." "Alpha will be returning!" Was what I could hear as I walked down the stairs and saw two very familiar backs of heads sitting on the bottom step being scolded by the blonde maid. "Now listen your rats. Alpha is coming back and he doesn't need you crashing in to him like you did too that girl. Now I swear if i see you running around like you have been I'll-" "you'll what?" I asked stopping her mean rant. All three of their heads whipped up and around to see me. The two boys gave a small guilty smile. I smiled back and walked down and held at my hands to them they got the gesture and held on to my hands hiding slightly behind me. I looked back up at the Blonde who was beet red and you could see the steam radiating of her. I raised an eyebrow. I was never really confident but picking on kids is out of the question. "You little defiant child, how dare you intertwine in something that does not concern you!" She hissed taking a threatening step forward. I let out a low laugh.

"You know that i'm not afraid of you right? Plus I can't hear you over all of this bull." The boys were loosely holding on to the loops of where the belt is meant to be holding on a belt. Her eyes showed admiration, she clearly didn't know that I would react. "It's up to me when their parents aren't around-" "No i don't give a crap. I don't now whats going on around here. I don't know how things go. But what I do know is that if you touch a hair on these children's head, I will kill you and it will be a painful long death." I growled. she glared in my direction and smirked before she turned and walked off. I turned around and took both boys into a hug as I knelt in between them. They hugged me back and smiled at me thankfully. "Thank you for that, Leilia. But the others are going to tell Alpha now." Delliky mumbled pointing at the mass of women hiding round the corner. I smiled dismissively.

***later that day***

I was now walking through the gardens catching sight of Alister and Feadora kissing up against the tree whispering to each other. The devil twins playing football with more kids. Laura and Robert sitting next to each other talking and smiling. Rabbit, my mum and raffia walking towards the main house and loads of other people. "Hey! Hey Leilia over here." Laura called I smiled and ran over taking a seat in front of them. "We just wanted to talk to you about Alpha." She beamed I nodded and got comfortable. "Yeah what about him?" I asked letting my hair loose and running my hand through. "Well every one listens to him so please don't be disrespectful, um if he wants to talk to your answer honestly and don't just walk up to him because futur- Nelly has her claws so deep in him you wouldn't believe..." she said chuckling slightly. "Who's Nelly?" i ask confused. "Oh that blonde maid she was in your room earlier and you shouted at her for scolding Delly and Damion." She smiled. I nodded and got up to leave. Waving slightly.

After my talk with Laura and finding out who the blonde was I went for a shower. Stepping out i saw a small black dress hanging on the closet door. I alked up and read the small note.

"Hey Flower.

Your mum want's you to attend the welcome back dinner in honour of the Alpha!

It will be your mum, dad, Alister, Feadora, Luna (that means female boss.) Nelly, Laura, Robert, myself and you at the dinner table. There you will introduce yourselves to him and you and your mum will thank him for his kindness.

There will be rules to obey when you are there.

1. always listen to what he has to say.

2. Do not disobey any requests he asks of you. (He probably won't request anything.)

3. Do not speak unless talked to.

4. Use all cutlery and napkin provided.

5. Do not be rude or obsessive

6. You must call him alpha.

7. Try your best.

these rules are made so the alpha will not be rude to you... I know you are confused about all the talk right now but your dad will explain soon.

I giggled slightly. It was half six right now so better be ready.

I had primped and curled my hair to perfection before i placed it into a loose pin up to the back of my head. i was wearing the dress which was black silk material with a open lace back that stopped a few inches above my bum and was a turtle lace neck. i added some plain black flats and a small anklet. my make up was simple yet elegant. i had applied some straight black eyeliner, mascara, blush and chap-stick to make sure the looked plump. I used two bobby pins to hold my hair back. I brushed my teeth like three times and smoothed out my eyeliner. I chucked on some thick black bracelets on my right wrist.

7:38pm. I checked the clock and touched up my make up and rubbed my lips. Need a time passer. I grabbed some nail polish and applied a small amount to each nail. there was a knock on the door and I jogged over. I opened pulling down the mid thigh high dress. Alister and Feadora stood there smiling brightly.

Feadora wore a plain white halter dress which also had a lace dress back. she had black pumps on and her hair was pulled into a tight pony tail with some loose strands at the front and a bobble band holding it up. her face held little make up which was just lip stick and bronzer. Alister wore a black suit with a white tie and grey dress shirt. His hair was combed back and he wore black dress shoes. He had shaven due to the lack of stubble.

"You ready?" She asked. I smiled and nodded they turned and Alister offered his free arm to me. As we walked down my mum was already seated at the far end of the table. there was an unoccupied head chair which was next to two corner chairs. Nelly sat in one looking over her black polished nails. she wore a knee length black dress with black heels and her hair was tightly curled. my mother sat on one of the bottom corners she wore a dark purple dress, her hair was in a tight bun. Raffia sat at opposite her in a suit also. I noticed Laura next to my mum with Robert next to raffia. there were three unoccupied seats from the heads corner and down. Feadora sat down next to Robert, than Alister and I sat across from Nelly. She smiled as the door bell rang. I sat straight and looked straight as she rouse from her seat and stood near the door. Foot steps were heard.

A delicious smell clouded my senses and i nearly moaned. Melted chocolate and ginger bread. My head whipped to the door to see the most sexiest man I have ever seen. Thee Alpha. He looked me straight in the eye his iris's growing darker and his lip twitched slightly before Nelly pulled him over.
