Brine's POV

"Hotch I am fine." I insisted as Reid and I walked into the conference room, Hotch right behind us. Hotch narrowed his eyes at me while glancing at Reid. Reid then nodded to him with his hands shoved in his pocket. Reid licked his lips and seemed like he was straining himself to keep quiet. But anyways Hotch nodded but wouldn't let me pass without another warning.

"Stay with Reid." He said then entered the interrogation room. I could take care if myself, but I didn't say anything. I then took a seat looking at her. All we needed was for her to tell us she was with someone or even had a stalker.

"Coffee?" Reid asked me and I only shook my head. I curled into a body while looking at Hotch interrogate her. Sure I was tired but I didn't need anything that would make me gittery. She merely laughed, he didn't seem too happy with the way she was acting.

"You will stay away from my team, from my girls." Hotch growled slamming his hand on the table. I flinched back into my seat and stood up. I had never seen him like this, he had always seemed calm. I went to leave before Reid spoke to me.

"Hotch said-"

"I don't care Reid, I can't listen to this-" I paused waving around. "I'll be right back Reid." He tried to say something else to me but I didn't answer him. Just left the room before taking a seat across from a man. He was a new deputy and had his legs crossed only looking at his computer, then he glanced up at me. He then smiled at me.

"Well hello." I looked up. "Deputy Alex Christian," Then he reached his hand out, I placed my hand in his. His grip was tight, I then wondered how long he had been working here. He only looked to be around 20-25. His hair was brown, an army cut.

"Dr Brine Carder, I'm with the FBI Behavioral Analyst Unit." His eyes then seemed to light up, something in my stomach didn't settle right but he smiled at me so I smiled back. He made me feel that I was out of place.

"Hun your way too pretty to be a government goon." He flirted and I was taken back. I had never been flirted with before. "Please don't tell me that you've never been flirted with before?" He asked me while sipping a soda bottle. I turned a deep red.

"Actually no, it's rare that I talk to anyone, let alone a male." I said to him and he broke to a grin. "I graduated at the age of 13 so you could say that I wasn't all that popular. Have you ever spent all your days with someone you constantly showing you that they're smarter than you? I mean I don't need to but-"

"Your cute Dr Brine." He said letting out a small chuckle. "So tell me, do you have a boyfriend?" Alex asked and I shook my head. "Well aren't I fortunate." Alex grinned, I rolled my eyes at him.

"Brine." My head snapped from Alex's gaze to see Reid. His arms were crossed and his eyes were narrowed. Reid seemed to be mad, but I had never seen him like this.

"Yes Reid?" I asked him as he still didn't look at me. Then he licked his lips, he frequently did this. Perhaps it was just a habit, but I saw him do it when he was trying to bite his tongue. Trying not to yell or to say some fact that he knew I already knew. It already made me smile.

"Hotch wants a um- a team meeting he said." Reid stammered his voice filling my ears. I nodded before glancing at Alex, giving him a pressed smile before following Reid. Reid didn't even glance at me as he placed a had on the small of my back. Shutting the door behind us. I glanced up at the team. Morgan did even looked at, everyone's eyes were locked on Alex.

"She won't talk to us." Hotch insists. I sighed before nodding! placing my hands on my hips. Morgan leaned on a chair, he looked tired and stressed. "She wants to talk to Carder." My body went cold as I thought of talking to her again.

"Hotch that can't happen man." Morgan said pushing his body off the chair. He looked like he could take her head off and she wasn't even in the room. Morgan was defensive, always trying to protect someone that he cared about but didn't care for his own safety.

"I'll do it." I said crossing my arms. Trying to make myself seem smaller. Morgan then stood up straight and JJ also crossed her arms. Reid had his eyes narrowed.

"What does this have to do with Brine?" He asked Hotch, it was a different tone. I had never heard him seem so mean or defiant to Hotch.

"The letter." I whispered. Then I saw the eyes or Reid and Morgan snap to me. "Her first was her worst and now her last will reveal her mask." Then my eyes widened, I almost stumbled back. "Oh my gosh-"

"What?" Rossi asked me and I covered my mouth.

"My first case with the team. It was her, she injected her victims with a drug and know- oh my gosh- mask." I whispered to myself the last part. I blinked rapidly.

"Brine-"

"Kid are you saying that she's after you?" Morgan asked gripping his chair. I nodded.

"Her first was her worst and now her last will reveal her mask." Reid said and I shivered. "What is she talking about?" Reid asked me, his hands were shaking and his foot tapping. I shrugged.

What could she be talking about? Not telling the team about my parents? That didn't seem like anything that they would hunt me for. Or maybe it was something else but what could it be?

"Garcia tell me any of her- her I'm relatives. Particularly males." I said to her, threw the laptop of mine that I had brought.

"Brine-"

"Just do it!" I yelled slipping into a chair other than the floor. I was shaking, could it be? There was no way that this was my fault. Could it be? "Check for criminal records or any males, check for- check for-" I was frozen. "Check for murder." I whispered to her, she looked up and her eyes went blank.

"Carder-" She paused, "Does the name Richard Mose have any significance to you?" I felt like I was going I be sick. My eyes watered and I nodded. Pushing away from the laptop. My hands shook and I shoved hands away from someone.

"Kid-"

"He killed my parents." I paused licking my lips. "Richard Mose killed my parents " I finally said out loud. Tears cascaded down my face.

"He's her father."

A/N

I'm gunna cry, this chapter makes me so sad. I'm watching Criminal Minds, REID IS KIDNAPPED! I hate reruns.....
