Alexis' POV

Homeroom was over so I walked to science, my next class. When I was almost there, she stepped right in front of me. "Where do you think you're going?" Trina said. "To science. What do you want Trina?" I said completely annoyed. "What's in the bag?" she asked. I rolled my eyes and emptied out my bag. "See? All there is, are my textbooks, binder, and pencils. "Can I go now?" I asked,

She seemed to think about it. "Sure. Whatever. But after this," and she stomped on my books and walked away. I frowned and started to pick my stuff up. I started to pick up my binder. That's when there was another hand on top of mine. I blushed and looked up it was Ryan. I blushed even harder. "Here let me help," he smiled and started picking things up.

He gave me the things he picked up and I put them in my bag. "Um, thanks Ryan," I said. "No prob. See you later Alexis!" He said as he walked off. Follwed by a wink. My heart fluttered and I walked to class, dreaming about Ryan.

Brenna's POV

"And he helped me after Trina was being mean to me! He's so sweet!" Alexis bragged on. I rolled my eyes and continued to eat my bowl of fruit I got for lunch. "I don't get why it's such a big deal," our friend Stacy said. She wasn't the kind to fall in love with every single guy. She wants the best of the best.

Have you read the Immortals series by Alyson Noël? (A/N: READ IT!!! IT'S SO GOOD!) Well basically, Stacy's Haven. Except she doesn't go falling for boys. "Whatever Stacy, you just haven't met him!" Alexis shouted. "No. It's just I'm not one to fall for guys," she said. "Um hello? Can we talk about things other than us men?" asked Thomas and Peter, our other friends. "Fault Alexis for bringing up her new boyfriend," Stacy said as she took a bite for her red velvet cupcake.

"Whatever. He's not even my boyfriend anyway. Brenna, you've been quiet this whole time. What do you think?" Alexis asked. I shrugged and ate the last of my fruit bowl. "You might as well talk about Brandon," Alexis said. I then almost choked on my last piece of apple. "No way. I am not talking about him." I crossed my arms and frowned. As if I was going to tell her about what happened earlier today.

----- FLASHBACK -----

I walked to art as quick as I could before I became Trina's next victim. I looked behind just to make sure she wasn't behind me, when I bonked into someone. I fell to the floor, my books, pencils, and secret journal falling out of my floral bag. "Oh my god. I'm so sorry," I said picking things up. "It's fine," the other person said. I looked up, and there was Brandon with a huge smile on his face.

I immediately turned red. I then looked around picking things up. "Where's my journal?" I said to myself panicking. "Here." I turned around. There, in Brandon's hand, was my journal. "Um. Thanks," I said. "No prob. I'll see you later," he said as he walked away. I then looked in my journal. On the last page, was his number in a heart.

----- END OF FLASHBACK -----

"Hello? Earth to Brenna! Are you even listening?" I immediately snapped out of the flashback. "Oh uh sorry guys." I just took a sip of my water. "Anyways, so how about we go for a swim today guys?" Peter asked. He's been wanting to come over to swim. He always says when he goes swimming, it has to be without a tail.

"Sure. Only if it's a hour though." "Sure." The bell rang and we all went to out next class.
