Liam

I held her bloody head in my arms during the ride.

"M-My creator....Take me home" She began to demand. I kissed the left corner of her mouth then hollered to driver. I didn't have the strength to fight her about going to the hospital. I didn't have that right.

We finally reached her house. I cradled her in my arm sprinting with wolf like speed to the door.

Before my hand could touch the door, it swung open revealing a tall man with a worried expression maybe in his mid 30s.

"Amber?" His solum face gestured to the angel in my arms. Her face shifted so he could see the bloody mess. As if on cue, the blood began to ooze out of the wounds.

"What have you done to my beautiful perfect Amber?!" Well...Way to make me feel better!

"I-it was an accident...please can you help her?"I pleaded. I would give anything to see Amber's ember green eyes again. He sighed and stepped back allowing me to enter the house. It was very pale and perfect. The colors went from 'White' to 'Pastels'. It felt plain and pale but over the top perfection.

He led me to what looked like a surgery room. He waved me to place her on the silver table. I was hesitant because the silver would burn me being a child of the moon.

However I gently layed her limp body on the table hissing every time the table touched my bare skin. I kissed the corner of her mouth again then followed the man to the 'waiting area'.

"Are you her father?"I felt the sad sorrow droop on my face.

"Not biological, Amber is adopted." That would explain why she looked nothing like him. She had midnight dark hair, he had soft brown spikes, She had plump even lips, his were thin and his bottom lip was slightly larger. Her eyes were ember his where a neutral brown.

"Can you fix her back to normal?" There's no way, I knew that. It didn't take a genius to see that when you claw a 16 year old girls eyes out and take her sight, she most likely wont be the same. Man! I am so not getting a date. Obviously some girls don't like it when you make them go blind.

"With time, The wounds should heal. Her sight is my biggest concern. Here's the deal, kid. I'll fix her up under the condition that for one whole year, you are never speak, write, or see her, understand? "

I nodded then opened my mouth to speak.

"Can i see her first?" I didn't deserve to see her but i needed to. He sighed shoving his hand through his rather short hair like it was long.

"Sure. see her then leave."

"What is going to happen to her after today?"

"That is none of your concern." He made an about face and disappeared.

My heart sank. Hours passed like second as if they were trying to drive me insane. Thoughts crept into my mind. What if she cant see color or even the rain? Will she ever get to have kids? If she does she will never see how beautiful they would be. I took that away from her.

Large drops of moisture splashed on the fancy marble floor. I watched the droplets hit the ground one by one. Much like a child i found my self fighting sleep. Slowly but surely i lost.

*Memory*

"Liam! Nylah! go out into the garden and play!" My mothers voice was so soft and graceful even when she was angry.

My sister was 6 at the time and My brother christian and I we were 8.  My tribe believed that every thing has a spirit. The trees, Sun, Moon, And the animals as well. Every spirit has a Guardian or protector. We take the form of wolves. Every guardian gets a certain gift that helps you protect the tribe and its spirts. My gift is fire.

I am a perfectionist. Or at least i was..... I don't what the fight was about, I just hope it was worth it.

I was practicing my fire and i blacked out. No i was was there watching patiently.

"LIAM! NO! STOP!" My eyes snapped open to the blood curling screams. My eyes caught sight of nylah hunched over on the grass screaming frantically. My fathers hand finally met my face forcing me to meet the ground. I looked up at Nylah again, she slowly turned to face me, flashing her burns at me. The skin pealed off her face slowly. That was the last time i saw my sister. Every time I sleep or even blink i see her torn up face. Even now.

* memory over*

"Liam, she is awake. Follow me." Before i could even speak he was already walking. I followed him into a hallway that led to two large light cherry wood double doors. He pushed them open to show A large pale room. My eyes searched for what they craved most. Amber. And there she was in a large white bed near the Large window.

"Amber?" She sat up and her head twisted around looking for me.

"L-Liam?" She sounded weak and frail. I raced over to her side and sat near her holding her hand.

"How do you feel?" i asked slowly regretting it. She chuckled.

"Like a million bucks!" i joined in with her laughter. I kissed the top of her hand because it was the only part of her that wasn't wrapped in bandages.

" Go to sleep you need rest." She layed back into her pillow.

"Liam?"

"yes?"

"I'm so sorry...for attacking you.."

"I am sorry for hurting you, Amber."

"Mmmm"

"I will never leave you side, Even if you can not hear my voice i will be right beside you dear." I heard her drifting to sleep. Her heart beat grew more steady. She was going to be ok.

I walked out of the house and i didn't dare to look back. This would be the last time i see her again.

I can no longer hurt her.

My Mate.

She is Safe.
