Cold as Fire, Hot as Ice

Liam

It was utterly painful. Like Ice water flowing in your veins. I shuddered from the coldness i felt as if that would help. I wanted to claw my veins out but my hands her restrained. Every tear i cried burned my skin like boiling water drops. I swear i could hear them sizzle on my fiery skin. My wolf was dying trying to bring my body to its normal state.

"p-please! st-stop!" I begged in a groan. It was like my body was laying in a bed a of freazing needles. It was even more painful because it was real and i knew i couldnt stop some thing that wasnt real.

A small chuckle filled the room, And a scream bellowed from within me.

"Thats enough Amber we need him alive." The pain slowly lifted and the darkness faded. Small blurry figures stood in my sight one that i assumed was Amber and the other 'Stephen'.

I was still in my boxers. It was better than nothing. My pale skin was bright red and covered by a shiny layer of sweat.

"Amber you dont have to do this..." I pleaded breathing heavy. Before she could answer he covered her mouth with his hand stopping her from speaking.

"She knows that, this is what she wants to do. Oh Liam you fool dont you know? have you forgotten? Amber has killed before." He removed his hand and waved her to sit as he began brushing her hair. 'Doll face' is what you would describe her expression.

"Thats not true! Amber wouldnt do that on her own free will!" I retorted.

"oh Liam, but she did! Lets see....Allora S. Wolfe, i believe was her name....does that ring a dark bell in your memory, Liam...Wolfe?" He pressed on. My mother? No.

"No you're lying! I dont believe you! Amber tell me its not true!" I shut my eyes not wanting to see.

"Awww is Liam crying? How pathetic? Go ahead Amber tell him Every detail! Better yet show him. Amber has a gift for the mind you know?" His voice faded.

flash back *

"Oh hello there sweet heart.. are you lost? Wheres your mummy?" The woman cooed.

"I-im sc-scared." the little girl sobbed.

"Awww no sweetie dont fret love, i wont hurt you, come now you dont want your mummy to see you crying now do we?" Allora pulled the girl into a tight hug.

"My mummy left me..." Apalled the woman pulled away.

"No! now why would she do that? im sure its just a mistake!"

"N-no My mummy and Daddy went to heaven." The girl said in a small voice, that could make any heart melt.

"Well lets go find who ever brought you here." The woman cradeled the child in her arms.

"will you be my mummy?" The girl pleaded. The woman set her down and looked deep into her eyes.

"Now darling you are a beautiful girl as cute as can be, but i already have 3 little ones at home. Im sure we can figure out some way but dont give your hopes up." The girl grew angry.

"Why dont you love me?!" The small girl ran into the forest and the Allora went after her yanking her son by the arm making sure not to hurt him.

"Stop! Little girl! stop!" Allora froze. The small girl was being held down by a large wolf. The girl wiggled and squirmed but to no avail she couldnt break free.

"Let her go!" Allora comanded as she shoved her son in the bushes out of sight. The girl scream.

"Let this be a lesson Amber, No One Will EVER love you." And with that the large wolf pounced on to Allora tearing her flesh to shreds.

*FLASH BACK OVER*

"If amber hadnt brought her into the woods, your mother would have been here." I hadnt realized i was sobbing.

"She was a kid...How was she supposed to know?!" i sobbed.

"Why do you love her so much?!" He clasped his hand over her neck tossing her body towards me.

"Because back at the beach, I was only 8 at the time, my father took me out to surf, i met a girl, her name was Amber, She was scared and fragile but she was strong and held her ground. She was drowing in the water....I prayed to the gods to give her a piece of my soul so she would live....I remember that girl! My father yanked me away from her, but i never forgot! i came back every day just to see if she was there, to see if you were there Amber! Dont you dare tell me you forgot! Because i remember every thing! I remember you were so scared to even stand on a surf board! i remember you said you would marry the water if you could! you said that maybe if you did you could drown your self in its love!" By the end i was in full blown tears.

"I...never...forgot...you." I whispered watching her reaction and she layed on the floor hiding her face.

"I-I.....remember you..." A gun sounded off. My heart went gunning as soon as i realized it was me who got shot. Amber layed one the floor twitching as her eyes rolled and blood gushed out of her stomach. Her hands clutched her stomach digging into her wound fighting to pull out the bullet. In seconds the room looked like a murder scene.

"Now look what you did Liam! you broke my favorite toy! Well what a shame." He grabbed his coat and walked out the door.

"No! wait! you cant just leave her! she will die! please! Help her!"  A warm hand grabbed me ankle, causing me to freeze in my tracks.

"Liam...St-stop...This i-is it....Th-this is where my story e-ends ....I-im sorry..."

Her hand plopped to the floor motionless.

"Fuck! Amber No! You cant die! You cant leave me!" I sobbed and soon the room became still and quiet. The only sound you could hear was my pain.
