Just A Friend

The next morning, I went to the studio and Dante was outside waiting.

"Goodmorning beautiful." He said as he pulled out a rose

"Goodmorning Sir." I smiled as I sniffed the rose

"I felt like I needed to bring you a rose." He blushed and wiped his mouth with his index finger and thumb

"Come inside, class doesn't start for like an hour and a half." I said

Once we were inside, I made us a cup of hot chocolate and we sat and talked. Dante kept staring at me and was causing a little discomfort.

"What?" I asked while sipping on my coco

"You're just so beautiful." He said as he sat next to me

"Dante, I told you I'm in a relationship."

"I know, but." He trailed off, "Ever since I first met you, I've been thinking about you like crazy. I don't know if it's your smile, or the way you walk but whatever it is, it's got my full attention. I want you Raquel and I ain't afraid to say it."

I almost choked on my coco. He's expressing these feelings and he's in a moment. We're alone, Noah doesn't come in for like another hour and I came early to get a head start on my day.

"Really?" I asked

"Raquel, I fantasize about you all the time and I can't get you out of my head." He said

"I'm flattered but-" He cut me off before I could finish my sentence with a kiss. I must say he was a good kisser, but I had to draw the line there, but he then picked me up by my legs and carried me to the back, where me and Noah sit and talk after long days. How did he know there was a couch back here? I don't even know. He took off his shirt and I examined his body, he had a poem on his chest and a cross on his right bicep and a tattoo of a storm with the sun shining through on his left wrist. (I am so inlove with Trey Songz's tats) He was skinny but muscular at the same time, and the way his lips felt against my skin sent chills up my spine. But that's all he did, was kiss on me and then stopped.

"I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to. It's just you're so beautiful. You're boyfriend is a very lucky man. I would love to have a woman like you in my life that I could come home to every night and have my day brightened."

"I should get ready for my class." I said as Noah walked in

"Girl, I thought somebody broke in." Noah said before his attention was turned to Dante. "And you are?" Noah asked

"I'm Dante. We met the other day."

"Oh yeah." Noah said. Noah was clearly aware of who Dante was but was just being rude. Then Wade walked in, with his braids. Too many guys with braids are around.

"Yo Noah, I'ma see you later when you get off." He said as Noah faced him

"Bye Bubba." Noah said hugging and kissing his lips. Dante looked uncomfortable. Wade walked out and I looked at Noah for an explanation.

"What?" He asked

"I thought Wade was straight?" I asked

"Not anymore." Noah smiled

"I'ma catch you later Raquel." Dante said getting up and walking out

"So what was ya'll doing?" Noah asked

"Nothing." I said

"Girl, you can't lie to me. If I had a fine piece like him back here, I'd do some things too."

"We did nothing but talk. We're just friends."

"Ain't that what we always say?" Noah said

"Please? I got Taj." I said walking out to the desk

It's closing time and I decided to stay at the studio for a minute and take in what happened earliar. I can't go home to Taj after another man has been kissing and feeling on me. I feel so horrible, but my feelings and thoughts were interrupted by Dante knocking on the door. I went and opened the door and Dante walked in.

"What's up?" I asked messinh with my hands nervously

"I........ I don't wanna beg or wait....... If I can't have you, I don't think anybody should. I ain't saying this just to sleep with you, I'm saying this because I want you. I don't care if I have part of you, I'll be fine with that." He said

"I'm in a relationship and I don't believe in infidelity Dante. I love Taj too much to creep around on him."

"But you can admit that you have feelings for me too. I see how you tense up when I come around. The lust in your eyes, I see it all."

"I don't wanna hurt him. We've been through alot together." I said

"He ain't gotta know about us." He stepped closer. That's when Taj came to the door.

"Roc, open up." Taj said, "I been worried about you babe." He said hugging me.

"I was just on my way home when Dante stopped by."

"Dante?" Taj questioned

"I'm Dante. I came to talk to Raquel in letting my neice in her dance class."

"Bring her by at 11:00 tomorrow morning." I said

"Okay. I'll see you tomorrow then. Nice meeting you Taj." Dante said

"You too." Taj said as Dante walked out. "You ready?"

"Yeah. Let me set the alarm."

When we got home, I guess Taj noticed how I was acting cause he spoke up.

"Babe, what's up? You're distant and you know I don't like that shit." Taj said

"I'm sorry baby. I'm just tired and I need to shower." I said

"Want me to give you a massage?" Taj asked

"I'ma take a quick shower first."

"Aight."

During my shower, I scrubbed every area that Dante's hands and lips touched, trying to get rid of the Sin I just came upon. My grandmother would have a fit if she heard about this. After my shower, I lotioned up and put on one of Taj's shirts. He was out like a light in the living room. I turned off the TV and woke up Taj.

"Taj, baby get up." I pulled him up

"Morning already?"

"Come on. Get up and get in bed." I said helping him to the room turning off all the lights. Once he was situated in bed, I said my prayers and then fell asleep.

"I love you Rocky." Was the last thing I heard when Taj wrapped his arm around me.

Waking up the next morning, I didn't feel like going to the studio. I was comfortable being in my man's arms and my bed, but I had to go. I tried to get up but Taj wouldn't let me.

"Bae?" I said trying to move his arms

"Stay for a little bit." He mumbled against my hair

"I gotta get ready."

"Damn." He sighed

"You act like I ain't coming back."

"I'ma miss you."

"No, you just want this." I said referring to my vagina

"Hell yeah, I miss that too." He said still with his eyes closed

"That's just wrong." I said pushing him

"I still love you though." He said

"Sure you do." I said walking to my closet

I got ready for my day and got my things ready to leave.

"I'll walk you." Taj said putting on sweats and a hoodie.
