**I want to apologize ahead of time for the short chapter. I promise the next one will be longer. Enjoy!**
"Am I dead?" my voiced echoed in the thick air, "Hello?" I called out louder.
I wasn't sure of where I could be. There was nothing but darkness surrounding me. I couldn't even see passed my knees. There was a slight fog that filled the air. The fog was making it hard for me to breath a bit. My chest was starting to get a little tight. With my right hand clenching onto my chest, I began to walk with caution or, at least I thought I was walking. I couldn't feel my feet against the ground. Come to think of it, I wasn't sure if I was even moving. It was pitch black; it was darker than night. Where the hell was I?
I started to feel a tad worried at this point. If I had died, where did I go? Is this where spirits are sent to? Or was this the area between life and death?
"Jimin? Namjoon? Anybody?" I called out.
My voice once again echoed. As expected, there was no response.
I guess I'm here alone, I thought to myself.
I was suddenly blinded by a bright white light.
"Shit!" I cried out.
Looking in between my fingers, I could see that the light soon dimmed down to almost a pea size circle some feet away from me. I could hear inaudible voices speak to me.
"Hello? What? Who are you?" I called out.
The louder the voices got, the brighter, the closer the light was getting to me.
"No! No, please. Not this way," I begged, "Please, don't take me. I'm not ready!"
I tried to get away from the light but, it was pulling me in. Soon, the light was all around me.
"She's back! She's back," I heard a voice yell.
I gasped for air. My chest was no longer felt tight. I looked at my surroundings with blurred vision. Figures dressed in white and wearing masks were all around me. One of them leaned down towards me and opened my eye a bit wider. Shinning a light into my eye I could hear a faint voice telling me that I was going to be okay.
My head was feeling light again. My eyelids were closing without my control. Trying my best to keep them open, I tried to speak. No words were coming out of my mouth. Or maybe I couldn't hear myself? My eyelids finally shut.
I later regained consciousness. I didn't realize that I even had passed out. Looking up at, the lights on the ceiling were blinding me. I could only see blurry figures in my view. As my vision started to become clearer, I could see their faces one by one.
The gang were in the room, along with my dad and a woman; I assumed is his girlfriend. For some reason, I couldn't wrap my head around what was going on. Took me a while to realize that I was in a hospital bed. I tried to say something but, my mouth was dry and my throat was a bit scratchy. Jimin and Jungkook turned and faced me once they heard me try to speak.
"Guys," Jungkook called.
"Shh," Jimin hushed, "Don't try to speak."
Namjoon walked over and began to run his fingers through my hair gently.
"Hey sweetheart," my dad greeted, "Don't move too much. You're going to hurt yourself."
Not paying attention to my dad, I tried to sit up. I felt a unbearable pain on the right side of my stomach. Namjoon laid me back onto the bed.
