The Roommate

Part 9

3 weeks later

I was laying on the couch watching The Flavor of Love when the door bell rang. I got up and looked out the window to see Odell. I opened the door and told him that August wasn't home but he still pushed his way through. We sat on the couch together and watched TV. We had a few conversations, but I kept cutting them short, and trying to convince him to leave.
"Brooke I'm about to go to mall to get the newest J's, you wanna come" he asked
"Umm, I don't think August would want me to be hanging out with his friends and we just met like a month ago" I replied
"Who cares I want to get to know you better, and you can trust me, when you're with me your safe" he said placing his hand on thigh
"Um I'm don't think that would be a good idea" I said removing his hand from my thigh
"I'll text August" he said pulling out his phone and unlocking it

He began to text and within a minute his phone buzzed with a text notification.
"He said OK" he smiled
"Um OK" I said a bit unsure if I should go with him

Anyways, he pulled me off of the couch and dragged me to the door I grabbed my stuff and locked the door, then we got in the car. He drove for about 30 minutes until I noticed that he had passed the mall.
"Passed the mall" I blurted out
"I know, I seen the way you looked at me when I first met you, and I know you want me, so let's just stop playing games and get this over with, August doesn't even have to know."he said pulling into a dark ally
"Let me out" I begged
"No" he said dryly
I pulled out my phone and began to dial August's number when he snatched it from me, and threw it on his side of the dashboard. I tried to reach for it but he pushed me back down. He took off his shirt and began to kiss me as he did that he I felt his hand going up my leg. I slapped him and opened the door, but he grabbed my hair and pulled the door shut. He looked the door and covered my mouth as I screamed and tried to fight him off. He removed my pants and underwear roughly. Before he exposed himself he reached in the back of the car and grabbed some handcuffs, I kneed him in the stomach as he cuffed me to the car. He slapped me hard and covered my mouth as I screamed for help in pain. Once he forced himself on to me, my phone began to ring and I knew it had to be August or Hazel. I cried harder from the pain and knowing that I couldn't get to my phone. He began to choke me hard as he went faster. He sped up and tightened his grip around my neck as he covered my mouth. This lasted a few more minutes until I blacked out.

I woke up in pain, wondering where I was, as I began to feel around I noticed I was on the floor. Then I remembered what happened before I blacked out. I searched for my phone, and couldn't find it until I seen a light. I crawled over to it slowly and answered the phone.
"Hello?" I heard someone say
"Hazel please come get me" I cried
"Omg! What's wrong? Where are you?" She asked sounding worried
"I'm in the ally about 10 blocks away from the mall, please hurry, and DON'T tell August." I begged
"OK I won't" she said hanging up
In about 15 minutes I saw a car zoom into the ally and Hazel hopped out the car. She ran over to me and hugged me.
"What happened to you? Who did this?" She cried
I told her everything that happened and she promised she wouldn't tell August or Chris. I hugged her tighter as we hugged each other. We got up and got in the car.
She drove me home and walked in with me. I was lucky that August was in the kitchen with Chris because I noticed my clothes was drowned in blood. I limped upstairs and took a long hot shower. I got dressed in my pjs and got into my bed with Hazel. She hugged me as we watched a movie on Netflix.
"I got to go, but are you going to be ok? I come tomorrow to see you, and you need to tell August what happened " she said she walked out the door
I laid in the middle of my bed and closed my eyes. I drifted to sleep, and the same dream kept repeating in my head. Well the same nightmare of what he did to me. I deep into my sleep when I heard someone calling my name.
"Brooke...wake up" I heard as I was shaken awake
"Baby, wake up?" I heard August say once I opened my eyes
"AUGUST!!" I screamed and jumped on top of him
He held me as I hugged him tight and cried. He sat me back on to the bed and sat next to me.
"Can you sleep with me tonight?" I asked
"Yea" he replied taking off his shirt and getting into bed with me. He wrapped his arms around my waist and I held his hand as we fell asleep.
