Elena's POV
"So you guys are official now?" Caroline stops brushing my hair and I smile back at her in the mirror.
"We're official. For two days now." I say happily.
"Well look at you." Caroline winks.
"So does that mean you guys have had sex? Cause you would tell me right? Cause I tell you about my sex life." She starts brushing my hair again and I roll my eyes.
"We haven't had sex yet. But I want to, trust me. I'm just waiting for the right time." I tell her. I look at my lockscreen of Damon and I at the zoo the other day and smile.
"When do you think that will be?" Caroline asks. I turn around in the chair and look at her.
"When the right time comes around, Caroline. I don't just have sex to have sex. I want it to be special because I really do like Damon." I say and she nods with a sorry expression across her face.
"Sorry Caroline." I place my hand on hers.
"When it happens I'll text you everything. Details if you want." I smirk and she laughs.
"No details. Please." She keeps laughing.
"I've missed our girl nights. These boys take over our life's." She says.
"I agree. We need to do these at least twice a week. Even when we are both married with five kids each." I say. I sit my brush on the sink and stand up.
"Five kids? You're funny Elena. I already have to deal with twenty two in my class. I'm not sure I even want kids. At least not yet. And, I'm not even married!" Caroline says and I laugh at her.
"Calm down! I'm just kidding. But I want a lot of kids. And you're going to be the god mother to every single girl I have." I smile at her.
"Can you just get like, a puppy or something instead." We walk in to my bedroom and climb in the bed.
"Nope. I don't want a dog. They're to much work." I lay back against my pillow.
"And five kids aren't? Need I remind you, kids are stinky, dirty, need your attention all day long, you have to cook for them, clean up after them, buy them toys, clothes..I could go on Elena." She throws herself back against the pillows and I laugh.
"I bet you anything you will have a baby before I do." I turn my light on the bed side table and turn to face her in the dark.
"I doubt that. Stefan and I use protection and I'm on birth control." She says.
"Doesn't mean anything." I laugh to myself and she groans.
"Goodnight Elena." She turns her back to me and I laugh more.
"Goodnight Caroline. I love you." I snuggle into her and she pulls my arm around her side.
"I love you too, Elena." She mumbles in her pillow. I love our friendship
"Maddie, can you bring me a brush and I'll do your hair. We need to leave soon if we are meeting caroline." I sit back on the couch and wait on Maddie. My parents went out of town again so I've been staying at their house with Maddie.
"Can we do a fish tail?" Maddie sits down in front of me and I begin brushing her long brown locks. Her hair is just like mine.
"Of course." I say and start on the fish tail.
"Is Damon coming over tonight?" Maddie asks. I finish her hair and she stands back up.
"Do you want me to invite him over?" I look at her and she smiles.
