Three Years Later -
Damon's pov
"Daddy!" I'm greeted with 4 little arms as soon as I step inside the front door. I look down at Ezra and Sutton and smile wide.
"Daddy! I miss you today." Sutton says and I laugh at her grammar. She just turned 3 and I love the way she talks. She has her moms long brown hair and her brown eyes. I love my girls. And Ezra is a wonderful big brother, he's almost 8 now, and into almost every sport. Especially soccer. He still looks like a mixture of Elena and I and I love it.
"I missed you too Sutton. And you too, Ezra. How was soccer practice?" I brush my fingers through his hair and he smiles up at me.
"We got into teams and played a game. I scored 4 goals. Coach was really impressed." Ezra says and I pat his back.
"That's great buddy. Have you showered and ate dinner?" I ask and he nods, he runs towards the couch and flips on to it.
"Where's mom at?" I ask and he shrugs.
"Upstairs I think." He says after a few seconds.
"Sutton go sit down with your brother." I tell her and she walks over, sitting on the floor with her my little ponies.
"Babe?" I call out when I walk up the stairs.
"Hey, sorry. I was cleaning up the bathroom. Sutton decided to have a mermaid party in the tub tonight." She smiles, leaning in to kiss me.
"We've gotta get that girl in swim classes. She loves the water." I say and she nods her head in agreement. She throws the wet towels in the hamper and turns back to face me.
"I'm glad you're finally home. Your dinner is in the oven. I'll get the kids in bed then I'll meet you downstairs." She says and I lean down to kiss her again.
"Sounds like a plan." I smile. We head back down the stairs and the kids are fighting over a spot on the recliner.
"It's my turn Ezra! Get!" Sutton yells at him and I laugh at her little voice yelling.
"Ezra, be nice to your sister." Elena says to him and he jumps off the recliner.
"How come she never gets in trouble?" Ezra looks up at Elena.
"Because you're the one bugging her for your own entertainment. She's 3." Elena kisses his cheek.
"Come on my little mermaid, time for bed." Elena picks Sutton up and she wraps her little arms around Elena's neck.
"Night daddy." Ezra says and I lean down to kiss his forehead.
"Goodnight buddy, tomorrow I have the whole day off so we will go do something fun." I tell him and his face lights up.
"Can we get the go cart out and drive around?" He asks with excitement and I laugh.
"Whatever you wanna do, now head up to bed. Mom will come tuck you in." I say and he nods, running up to his room.
"Tell daddy goodnight." Elena says to Sutton.
"Goodnight daddy, love you." She says and I kiss her cheek.
"Goodnight sweet girl. Do you want pancakes in the morning?" I ask and she giggles.
"Duhhh." She says and Elena and I both laugh.
