Prologue

  I am known by many names. My friends call me Mari, my closer friend calls me Marina, but to everyone else, I am known as M.J. How that matters, I don't know. It's what my dad and mom said as a "safety measure".
  Maybe I got to introduce myself, I am Marina Jackson, daughter of Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase. I am now 13 years old and go to Goode High School, where my father studied. Since young, my parents instill me from never revealing my real name, always going with a fake name. I kinda broke the rule almost when they said it. The next day, I told my new neighbors what my name was. This resulted in us moving house and a grounding for 3 weeks. I didn't understand why.
