Out far past the city,
out far past the town,
lies a little red house
on 10 acres of land.
A pond filled with fish,
a pasture filled with cows.
A house filled with laughter,
the home of a country girl.
Clad in cowboy boots,
and flannel shirts,
she tips her hat,
a hello to the world.
Her heart lies here,
in the country with the wind,
with the animals and mud,
with the praires of land,
it's like a sea.
The life of a country girl,
is the life for me.
