Friends with benefits

In love

I saw Nathan standing right besides a glass table set nicely with plates, silverware, and a vase of colorful roses. I was shocked. Is this real life!? I never knew this day would come. I looked at the lovely scenery, and looked at Nathan with curiosity..

Me-"can you explain to me what this is all about?"

Nathan- " well, I like you, like a lot. I wanted to do something special for you."

Me- "awee that's so sweet of you. I actually had feelings for you too but I didn't think you would feel the same."

Nathan- "same here"

Nathan pulled the chair out for me.. I sat down.

Nathan- "you look beautiful."

Me- " thanks, I don't though."

Nathan- " you always do to me."

I blushed.

Nathan- "I'll be right back."  I nodded

A couple of minutes later..

Nathan came back with a plate of appetizers such as poacher pears, and summer fruit with amaretti biscuits and hot chocolate sauce . The next plate
had scallops with anchovy, mint and coriander. He also brought a Shirley temple. I was amazed at how well he planned everything.
He set the plates on the table, making sure everything was perfect just for me.
I was extremely happy. Words couldn't explain how thankful I was.
I grabbed the fork and ate up. I had a bit of everything.

Me- "mmm this is good!"

Nathan- "thank you my mom is a Chief, so she teaches me how to cook these wonderful recipes.

Me- " You should be a chief!!"

Nathan laughed, and asked me "So how long have you liked me for?"

Me- "since 8th grade, so I've liked you for 3 years"

Nathan-"wow, i felt a connection between us ever since we started talking."

I blushed again..

Once I finished my plate we headed outside to go sit on the bench on the dock.

He reached for my hand and gently held mine. I looked him in the eyes for a couple of seconds then he slowly started leaning in. He took his other hand and placed it behind my head. His lips now had touched mine and we continued to make out for the time being. His hand was stroking through my hair. I placed my one hand around his neck.
We continued to make out.. But it was getting dark so I had to get going. We had gently pulled away from each other and smiled.
Nathan- "that was nice, really romantic too."

Me- " yeah it was amazing"

Nathan- "well it's getting dark you should probably get going."

Me- " yeah that's right." I headed for the door

Nathan- "wait"

I turned

Nathan- "I'm in love with you kailynn."

Me- "I'm in love with you too."
