Chapter Two

Sorry I know I said I'd upload every other day, but I can't help myself I already have up through chapter 5 finished in my notebook and I have like nothing to do right now, so I figured I'd write chapter two even though I already wrote chapter one like minutes ago... eh... you know? And don't forget to check out XxNICKIMINAJxX she's my BFF!!!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I walk in to see massive windows and a queen sized bed next to a gorgeous little night stand with a little lamp and clock on it. I look closer and notice that it's an alarm clock with instructions on ow to set it. In front of the foot of the bed is a flat-screen TV in a beautiful white TV case. There's a purple Dell laptop on the blue sheets of the bed. I look up and see a door. It must be the bathroom. I decided to check it out.

I opened the door and turned on the light. My jaw hit the floor. The sink was marble! There was already a hairdryer in the holster. An electric toothbrush was in its case on the counter top. There was a beautiful mirror that appeared to be hanging from the wall, but really, opened into a cabinet. The bathtub was white with stainless steel spouts and a shiny shower head. The shower curtains were silver. There were no windows. I felt like I was in a hotel! I looked on the back of the door and there hung a white, puffy robe covering up most of the full length mirror. I felt it. It was so soft! I have fulfilled my curiosity.

I step back out into my room and notice the stove with a microwave and cabinets above it and a black mini-fridge next to it. There's a sink next to it, as well. Then I walk through the doorway back into the bedroom. This is where the window is. I decide against going back there. I'll have plenty of time to explore it later. The kitchen area also doubled as a living room. There was a huge white soft couch in front of another plasma screen TV. The only difference is that this one has a rack of movies next to it.

I then hear a knock on my door. I go over and look through the peep-hole. It's Miranda. She looks at the peep-hole, waves, and smiles. I unlatch the door and open it.

"Want a tour?" she asks. The look on her face is hopeful.

"Sure. Just let me get my bag."

I shut the door again and drop to the floor where my tote bag is lying. I open it and begin rummaging through it. I end up throwing all my clothes onto the floor, along with all my makeup and hair accessories, before I find my purse. I pulled it out to put it on my shoulder. I slipped my cell phone out of my pocket, popped open the bag, and dropped it inside. I take the chain off and open the door, locking it once it's opened.

"Ready!" I say to the patiently waiting Miranda, who is now leaning against the wall. She pops up.

"Great! Let's go!"

We walk down the hall and back into the main room where our conference was.

"Before 6:30, you're going to need to know where the library is, so let me show you." she says as we open the massive oak doors once more and step out onto the sidewalk. But, this time, instead of going straight, and eventually ending up in the street, we take a right.

We walk a short way before we take another right turn to face another building. This one with glass doors instead of oak.

"Here it is. We don't have to go inside if you don't want to." She looks straight forward as she says it.

"No, I really don't." I respond.

"Okay then, let's go someplace else. Are you hungry?"

"Sorta." I say.

"Good. Because I am too. Let's go grab something."

"Like what?" I'm really confused now.

"Like McDonald's?" She says sarcastically.

"Oh. I didn't know they let us off campus."

"It's not a jail, silly! Boarding school isn't as bad as everyone thinks it is." She says

"It's not that I think it's bad, it's just that... Let's just go." As I say that, a gorgeous boy came out of the Library, his head buried in his book. I could feel my heart pick up the pace. Who is he? I thought. He noticed me staring, stopped and stared back. He dog-eared the page he was on, tucked the book under his arm, and made a beeline for the main building. That was when I noticed Miranda tapping on my shoulder.

"Hello? Earth to Michelle!" she was yelling.

"Sorry, I..." she cut me off.

"I get it. He's cute and you couldn't look away. Now, since you said you're hungry, let's go eat. We have 2 hours and 30 minutes left."

"O-okay." I stuttered. I wasn't very sure how to respond. My brain was still scrambled. Miranda grabbed my hand and dragged me to a sleek black car.

"Is this yours?" I asked, jaw dropped again.

"Close your mouth, bugs will nest, and yes, this car is mine. It was my mom's. Then she got a new one. Hop in."

I did as I was told and Miranda pulled out and onto the street. She drove up it, took a couple right turns, and pulled into the McDonald's parking lot. She parked the car and we got out. We walked up to the counter and she ordered her food and I ordered mine. We found a table, got our cokes and sat back down.

"So, what do you think of Nate?" Miranda asked, opening her sandwich.

"I feel like I've seen him before... somewhere..."

"Maybe he worked at your town movie theater. Do you remember any cute black-haired blue-eyed popcorn boys?" She asked. I laughed.

"No!" I said smiling.

"Well then, I have no clue." she said, and took a sip of her coke, "Did you go to school with him or something?"

"I don't think so. But who knows?" Miranda shrugged. "Let's just leave it at 'I think I've seen him before' shall we?"

"Sure" Miranda paused, "But isn't he just adorable?"

"Yes. He is." I said admittedly. Still laughing.

"Okay, you don't want to talk about it, I get it."

"Thanks." I said, and we finished our meal in silence. For the most part.
