26: Sammy: Naya's Anger

Outside there was chaos. Everyone was fighting. Things were on fire. I saw some bodies laying around. But not sure if they're dead or not.

I heard things break behind me. I didn't look back. Instead, I ran toward some doors on the side of the house. I opened the and went in, closing it behind me. It was dark and smell funny. When I was at the bottom steps, I gasp.

"Ruyo!" I limp over to him. He was beaten up. His wrists and ankles were chained up to the ceiling and floor. He was just there in mid-air. "Ruyo." I tug on the chains. They wouldn't budge.

"T..the key," his voice was a just a whisper. "I..in the drawer." I limp over to the drawer. But it wouldn't budge. I look around for something. Something I can use to open it. I found a metal stick. I use it to open the drawer.

Once I had, it opened I look for the key. When I found it, I rush over to Ruyo not caring about my leg.

I use the key to unlock the shackles. Ruyo fell to the ground. I knelt down.

"Sorry," I moved his hair away from his eyes.

"W..where is he?" He asked. "Naya?"

"His fighting Donny," I sob. "Donny isn't in shape to fight. He's getting beaten."

"I..I'll stop him," Ruyo tried to stand. "His my mate."

"You're too weak," I said. "You can't fight. Why is Naya like this? I know his angry. But is having you, not enough."

"H..his just upset," Ruyo stood up but fell. "I..I'll stop him."

"No," I stood. "I'll get help, stay here please." He rested against the wall. I limp back out. Only to get grabbed by Naya.

"You aren't taking him from me," he closed the doors and dragged me out to the field.

"Where's Donny?" I asked.

"I finished him off," he laughed. "I told you no one would get in my way." I cried.

"I'm sorry Alan, I should've had told you," someone said.

"Yeah, he should've!" Naya yelled. My father and Alan were here. With Cole and another guy, I don't know.

"Alan!" I called his name.

"Naya!" Alan yelled as he looked shocked. "You're the boss! But how? It can't be. You have to be older than 15?"

"Of course I'm older, idiot," Naya smiled. "I am Neri Al Yun Akin. I was in the pack before, as a professor. But years later I decided to leave. But the same day, I came back as a different person, as Naya. I forced those people I call parents to fake my adoption. But to do that, they had to adopt a baby. They adopted Kyi. Yeah surprised right?" I cried. Naya is cruel. "He was passed as me until we turned 13. I made sure to erase his memories. It wasn't hard, with a good smack on his head. Why do you think he screwed your girlfriend? After that, I took his place, and well here I am. You know who I am right? And the story. I'm the only one that remembers!"

"It's because you have a grudge and you never let it go," my father said. "At least that's what they told us."

"If that so," Naya smiled. "Then I'll finish it!" He raised the dagger and was about to stab me.

But someone or something knocked us down. I fell. I crawl away, at least I tried to. But Naya gripped my bad leg. I screamed out.

"Ah!" Naya screamed. I looked, and it was the wolf. I knew it wasn't Donny. Ruyo. No, it wasn't Ruyo. But who? "Kyi let go of me!"

"Kyi," Alan pulled me away. "I thought it was Ruyo."

"Ruyo, his injured he needs help," I said.

"Right now let's get you out of here," my father said.

"No!" I yelled. "Donny, Naya said he finished him off."

"I got him," Cole walked over with Donny. "He's alive. Let's go."

"What about Ruyo, and Naya and Kyi?" I looked at Alan.

"Luis will handle it," Alan said. "My main priority is you."

I look down. I was about to say something with I heard shots.

"You thought I would give up!" It was Dale. He had gotten lose. He had shot the guy named Luis, on the leg. Kyi and Naya wherein wolf for growling at each other. "Naya you used me!" He aims for her. I couldn't let him kill him. "I don't know what you are. A female or male? You're a freak just like my son and this cat. But I won't go down." Dale aimed a Naya. But Kyi knocked Dale down. The gun fell, and it went off. And things went into chaos again. Kyi and Dale went at it while Naya took the opportunity to attack me. But she didn't get it.

Ruyo stood in front of me. Somehow through the chaos, I got separated from Alan.

"Don't," Ruyo blocked Naya movements. "I won't let you kill him. You'll stop now, Naya. If you love me, you'll stop."

Naya only growls. He howls and rushed toward us. But he just stopped in front of Ruyo.

Ruyo just stared. It's like they were talking among themselves only. I backed away. Though I ended up tripping over a rock. I fell back.

Then I'm not sure what happened, but I felt my body begin to change. Then I was looking down at Ruyo.

I stepped forward. But I fell, I guess I'm not used to this firm yet.

'I'll handle this,' Sam said.

I felt her take control.

'Finally, let's end this battle!' That was Naya.

He attacked and on we went. But I wasn't doing anything; it was all Sam. She took control. I didn't feel any pain. Another wolf joined, Ruyo. He was trying to stop Naya. Whole Naya was attempting to take a bite out of my shoulder.

Naya wasn't even snapping at Ruyo. He did love him. Maybe there could be a way to keep them together. Maybe Alan can forgive them. Wait where's Alan and the others? I look around and saw them trying to stop Dale. It seems like Dale had a backup. Dale got lose from someone's grip and ran over to me. But he wasn't after me. Dale went directly toward Naya. I guess he indeed hated Naya. He got played.

Ruyo blocked him. Ruyo and Dale fought. It was awful. Naya wasn't after me anymore. He was fighting Dale as well. Trying to get Dale off Ruyo.

I winced. My heartache. It's like it was warning me about something. I have to help Naya. I ran over and jumped on Dale back. Well, Sam did. We bit his neck. Dale howls and shook his body, trying to get me off. But we held on tight.

Then things happen. It happens fast. I was thrown off; Dale went for my neck. Naya and Ruyo jumped on Dale. Then we heard a loud explosion. It was deafening that we got thrown away. My ears ring. Everything felt hot. I could hear yelling from a distant.

What happened?

Who's going to die?

Who will live? Who will go insane? Who will lose an eye?
So many things.
