27: Alan: Consequences

That loud ringing in my ears would stop. What the hell happen? Everything just went crazy.

"Alan," I look beside me. Cole laid there. He was in his wolf form, keeping the wall from falling on him. At least I thought until I saw Donny underneath still unconscious. I rushed over and dragged Donny out. Cole quickly ran. The wall came down, sending dust and concrete all over. He shifted back. "Go find Sammy." I nod and ran.

"Sammy!" I yell his name. Where could he be? It was hard to see anyone or anything. The explosion blew everything up. It was dusting and the air filled with smoke. "Sammy!"

"Ah!" I heard movement close by me. "Fuck!" I rushed over and looked around.

"Luis!" He was underneath some rubble. I didn't think before I helped him out. I should've had waited for someone to help me because he had a piece of glass sticking out of his side. "Sorry." I drag him over to Cole. "Watch him." I ran back and looked for Sammy. "Sammy!"

I couldn't find him. He must he trap somewhere under all the rubble.

That's when I heard sobbing. It was loudly sobbing. Please let it be Sammy. I follow the sobs. I was close to whoever was crying.

"Sammy?" I call his name.

"Al-Alan," I rushed over and saw him. He was leaning against some rubble. I knelt down.

"I'm here baby," I grab his face and kiss his head. "I'll get you out of here."

"Ah," he was badly injured. "His trap...h..help them." Sammy pointed to some rubble. I took a closer look and saw Naya trying to lift a piece of wall up. Someone was underneath. "P..please."

I ran over and helped him. Naya was crying. He was bleeding. So that's who I heard screaming.

"Ruyo!" Naya cried. "I'm sorry! Please don't leave me. I'll behave I promise." Ruyo. I shifted and used my paws to push it away.

'Stop!' Sin yelled. 'You'll crush them both! Kyi underneath as well.'

Crap. I shifted back.

"Alan!" Cesar rushed over. He looked awful. Blood ran down his face. "Where's Sammy?"

"He's over there," I said. "Help me here. Kyi and Ruyo are trapped." Cesar nodded and helped me. We manage to lift it off, and Kyi was the first one I saw. Cesar dragged him out.

Naya was huddle in the corner. I could tell he wasn't well. He will need help lots of help.

"Hold it up," Cesar said. "I see him." I held the concerté up as Cesar crawl in this was heavy he better hurry up. He crawls out dragging Ruyo out. Ruyo wasn't looking too well. He looked pale as if he was dead. I hope not.

I let it fall. Coughing, I turned and saw Sammy crawl over to Kyi and Ruyo. I knelt down and checked them. Kyi seemed fine, but still, he could have internal bleeding or bruising.

"Alan," Cesar whisper. "Ruyo isn't going to make it." I look at Ruyo, Naya had Ruyo head resting on his lap. Naya seemed out of it. Tears ran down his cheeks nonstop. "I can't stop the bleeding." Cesar applied pressure on Ruyo wound. I look down. "He has internal bleeding. I can tell."

"Ruyo, don't leave me," Naya sob. "Please stay. I promise I'll behave. I'll behave."

"Y...you'll b...be fine," Ruyo had woken up. "B...behave." It was hard for him to talk. He coughed blood out. "A...Alan."

"I'm here," I would tell him, everything will be alright. But it's not.

"T..take care of him," Ruyo smile. "H..help him." He coughed again.

"I will, I promise," Ruyo looked up at Naya.

"B..behave," he said.

"Don't leave me," Naya cried. I never saw him like this. "You'll be fine. You'll be fine." He repeated over and over.

"Ah," I look over at Sammy. He had Kyi head on his lap. Kyi was awake. "My head."

"Alan," Cesar tap me. "He's gone." I look down at Ruyo. His eyes were wide open staring at Naya. At least that what it looked like I look away.

"Don't leave me!" Naya screamed. "I'm sorry! I'm sorry for what I did. I won't do it again! I promise! Ruyo! Wake up! Get up don't leave me!" Naya shook Ruyo. She screamed. "I'm sorry! You promise you wouldn't leave me!"

I couldn't handle it anymore. I got up and grabbed Naya. He struggled, wanting to hold on to Ruyo. Cesar helped me. He took Naya instead. I close Ruyo eyes.

"Why?" Sammy sob. "Ruyo was innocent. Why did he have to die?"

"I don't know," I said. "I wish I knew."

Sammy looks down.

"Hey!" Cole and the others walked over. "Your father is here with help-" he stopped once he saw Ruyo. "Oh no, Ruyo."

"Yeah, Ruyo, his gone," I found a blanket dirty blanket and cover his body.

"Ahhh!!" Naya kept screaming. "I'll go with you!" He grabbed a sharp glass.

"No!" I grabbed his wrist. "Don't, Naya. I promised I would take care of you and I will! I'm not about to break that promise! I'll get you help." Naya dropped the glass and cried. I held him.

"Come on," Cesar helped Sammy and Kyi up. "Let's get the two of you out of here. Alan?"

"I'll be there," I said. Cesar nodded. "Go, Sammy, I promise I'll be joining you later." He nodded.

After they were gone, I held Naya tightly. Didn't want him to do something stupid.

"This is my punishment," he said. "For what I did this is what I deserve. Sammy even told me. I would regret it. And I do. I lost the only thing I loved. I just realized, Ruyo was more important than anything else. But I was blinded by hatred and revenge. And now, it's too late. You should let me die."

"No I won't," I said.

"I don't deserve to live," he cried.

I held him. I won't let him die. I made a promise to Ruyo. And I intend to keep it.

I waited for someone to come and get the body. As we did, we weren't paying attention.

"I won't die so easily," it can't be. "Not without taking some of you down!" I pushed Naya away, just on time.

"Ah..." the breathe was knocked out of me. I couldn't breathe.

"Alan!" Naya screamed.

I look down. The metal stick stuck out from my chest.

"Die!" Dale laughed.

"No!" Naya ran over and shifted. I couldn't tell what he was doing. But I heard Dales screams. I fell on my knees. Reaching back, I pulled the stick out. I guess it was a bad idea.

Is this how my life will end? I can't die. I promise Ruyo I would get Naya help.

I promise Sammy I would see him.

"Help!" I heard Naya yell. "Help someone! I can't lose you too! I can't!"

I was having trouble breathing. I gasp for air.

Sammy, I'm sorry.

Okay, so three chapter left. I swear three more I wasn't sure, but now I am. Three more.

I never kill any characters. At least not the good ones. The bad ones are always to die. But the goods ones die this pained me. It did. Poor Ruyo. Poor Naya. He'll go insane now.

And will Alan survive?
