Bobby Singer owns a small country house and a old auto parts shop a few minutes away from the Winchester's bar. He has been a close friend of John, Marry and the boys, they have their rough spots every now and then. But what family doesn't?

It's 11am and Bobby is out the back in his new flower garden he started with his wife Karen. He sits up straight and groans out load as he feels stiffness in his back after an hour or so of leaning forward, he covered his eyes as the sun shone down upon him. A black Impala slowly drove up his dusty drive way, Bobby smiled to himself as he recognized it as the car of the Winchester's.

Bobby stood and swiped at the bottom of his dirt covered jeans. He watched as the doors were pushed open, revealing Marry and John. Smiling, he made his way over to greet the couple.

"Bobby", John tipped his head forward, grinning to himself as he watched the older man walked towards them.

"John, Marry, good to see you two", Marry hugged Bobby while greeting him.

"Same to you, old friend. But this isn't a catch up, we're here to talk". Bobby released Marry and looked between them to see an uneasy expressions on their faces, he gestured them to come inside. After putting the jug on and grabbing three cups, Bobby joined the couple at the table, feeling a bit nervous.

"We're having some issues-"

"Just with money and a few people out of town" Marry cut in before John was able to finish his sentence. Bobby glared softly at them both.

"What to do mean?" Bobby leaned his arms on the wooden surface in front of him.

"It's nothing you need to worry about, old friend. We just have a few requests for you." John looked down, coughing lightly into his old, leather jacket.

"We want you to look after the pub and the boys while we're gone."

"We understand this may be worrying and short notice but it would mean a lot to John and I." John griped Marry's hand as she spoke.

Bobby leaned back, taking his old cap off and running his hand through greasey hair.

"All right. But on one condition"

Bobby and Karen watched from their doorstep as John and Marry talked to their boys as they packed suitcases into one of Bobby's old work trucks. Dean was frantically asking questions, knowing whatever his parents told him and Sam were lies. Marry hugged them both, getting into the car with John.

"We love you both, we wont be gone long." Marry said through her open window.

"You boys will be staying with the Singer's, who have nicely offered two rooms to you to stay in. So I hope you accept their offer." John shoved the key in, turning the truck on. The area filling with dark smoke.

"okay, okay but I don't-!"

"We'll see you in a few weeks boys" John stared to roll up their windows to keep the smell and smoke out of the vehicle.

"We both love you. Sam, Dean, look after each other you hear!" Marry quickly cut in before her window was closed, within seconds they drove off. Leaving the boys with so many questions. Bobby sighed deeply, then helped them with their bags.

-

"I'll do it. But on one condition"

"What condition-?" John and Marry looked at Bobby with uneasy eyes.

"Dean and Sam will stay with me. The bar will be closed till your return and the Impala will stay in Deans hands. You two can borrow one of my trucks I keep round the back. I will not take no as an answers Winchester's."

"I don't understand?" John and Marry looked between each other then back at Bobby.

"Just trust me John"
