Dean woke to an unfamiliar place, darting upright and looking around frantically he remembered where he was. Falling back with a sigh he smelled food cooking downstairs and with no sign of Sam he guessed he should join whoever it was.
Bobby and Sam looked up from their coffee's and news paper at Dean who was making his way cautiously downstairs.
"nice of you to join us boy," Bobby smiled as Dean messed up his bed hair, to make himself look half presentable.
Dean heard Sam laugh softly to himself.
"Yeah, well no time like the present" Dean said as he walked over to Karen who was dishing up their breakfast.
He hugged and thanked her as he grabbed their plates and helped her bring them over to the two men sitting at the dinning room table.
"No reading at the table," Karen said as she smiled at her husband, making him groan in a childish way as he folded up his paper.

As they finished their meals and thanked Karen, Bobby turned to the boys.
"I will need you lot to help around the yard today, Karen has a doctors appointment and I need to see a few people about work," Bobby looked between the two to try and read their faces.
"Can't old man, we have to open the pub at lunchtime, seeing as the doors were meant to open at 10am, and that was an hour ago," Dean said as he continued to shove food into his mouth.
Sam looked at Bobby with an uncertain expression on his face, worrying how his brother will react to the news.
Bobby coughed awkwardly. "yes well," he looked at Sam. "The Supernatural will be closed until your parents get back".
Sam grabbed his and Bobby's plate and placed it in the sink, hoping to get away from his brother.
"Closed? but Sam and I are more than capable of running that place while their not here," Dean stopped eating and put his focus on Bobby who was sitting across from him.
"Right Sammy? we ran that place while they were out of town, on times just like this!" He looked between the two for reason.
Sam turned and leaned back on the counter looking at his brother.
"yes Dean, but Dad said some things that didn't sound right-"
"They were lying to us Sam! couldn't you hear it in their voices!? something isn't right and the worse thing we could be doing is closing the bar and losing money! how does this sound like a good idea to you?"
"We all agreed that you boys needed a break; time to yourselves. Catch up with friends, hunt together like you used to. They were only thinking of you boys, like always" Bobby softened his look as Dean frowned, he knew this wasn't the end.
"They were thinking of themselves, like always! they don't trust us!" Dean stood, hitting the table with his fist.
"Why wont you let us prove to them that we are fine on our own? we're not kids anymore!"
"Exactly Dean! we're not kids, that's why we need to do different things, away from the bar, away from Mum and Dad. Things that we would't usually have the chance to do!" Sam walked over to his brother, placing a warm hand on his shoulder, trying to calm Dean.
"You have always talked about that road trip Dean, they left you the Impala, you two could finally travel" Karen said as she sat next to Bobby, placing her hand on his leg smiling warmly two the boys in front of her.Dean looked at his family, his mind had so many question and he couldn't shake the feeling of something happening behind all their backs.
His eyes rested on Sam, who was smiling down on him, gripping tighter to his shoulder. He knows the two had been planing a trip for years, just them and their beloved car; the Dean helped pick out. Dean pushed Sam's hand off with a playful smile, telling the others he liked the idea of sending time with his brother.
"All right, fine. But we'll need money, gas isn't cheep." Dean glanced at Bobby.
"do somethings around this place and we'll be more than happy to lend to some cash for a week or so. But make sure it's good, honest work! I'm not paying sloths."
