Name: Cadmus Scamander

Age: 18

Sex: Male

Appearance: He has somewhat ashen skin and his hair is a raven color. He's fairly tall and lean, though he doesn't seem as tall due to his habit of slouching. His eyes used to be a striking shade of blue, though unfortunately they've lost that color now, and while they are hardly ever seen, his eyes are now a milky opaque. He generally will never be seen without some sort of blindfold on covering his his damaged eyes and scarred upper cheek bones. He doesn't like to talk about the specifics of the cause of this disfigurement, as it is much less noble than he'd like to boast.

Personality: He's entirely a scoundrel; with his mix of being a pervert, an overly confident goof, and a scapegoat. He of course has many aspects akin to those of a traditional Athenian, such as being a clever strategist and good with mathematics. And though while blind, Cadmus is still extremely flirty with everyone, and I do mean everyone, and considering the fact that he can't see may help with this slightly. He's generally somewhat disliked for his bad habit of knocking objects over or accidentally touching parts of people they don't like being touched, and thus a lot of times bad things happening will be blamed on him. Luckily he isn't one to get angered easily unless directly insulted, and even then most harsh comments towards him are usually played off with a laugh. Cadmus also enjoys constantly making blind jokes, and usually ends up annoying whoever he's trying to joke with due to the repetition of it.

Background: While his mother has lived in Athens all her live, Cadmus' father isn't of Athenian birth. Originally a Theban, his father decided to name his son after the founder of Thebes to honor his home city. Cadmus isn't much like the man he inherited his name from though, and he's never been much of a hero. Ever since he was young the boy took a particular interest in girls, and he was usually chasing after them. It wasn't until he grew older that this started to grow reversed and young women would start lining up for a chance to gain his affections. Eventually, he gained the attention of the priest's daughter and, well, how could he turn her down? But once word got out about him sleeping with her, everything went downhill from there.
Punishment through blindness, he was cursed to stumble into a giant bramble of thorns, and his eyes were pierced. This was either caused by Athena herself or the priest, Cadmus isn't entirely sure, though he likes to boast it was from Athena. People stopped liking now him as much as they used to though, and he fell out of favor, yet again being the one to chase after rather than be chased.
