i try to pretend the pain isn't there
but the hot, burning sensation
sticks to my skin like glue
and i hate it
it doesn't look
nearly as bad
as it feels
the pain consumes me
screaming it's insufferable
i have to scream
to let some out
because everything hurts
so
much.
