Hime's POV
"Alright, everyone, sensei is expecting everyone to hand in their mathematics homework tomorrow. Isogai-kun do make sure everyone hand in tomorrow, okay?" Koro-sensei said as he lifts his left tentacle up as he lifts one of his two 'fingers'.
I let out a breath of relief and look to my left. Karma has his arms behind his head as he look at the octopus with a bored face. Of course. Typical Karma. He turns to me and flashes his famous smile. That smile is so innocent yet so evil.
"Hai." Isogai replies.
"Well then, sensei hopes you all get home safely. Now, I'm off to Malaysia for some durians." He said, sliding the classroom door open before he walks out the campus to fly straight to Malaysia. I get so jealous of him sometimes for being so free. He can do whatever he wants without any forms of restrictions. Sure there are people that are trying to kill him. But that never killed his spirit now, did it?
And most importantly, HE TRAVELS FOR FREE. How is that even fair? I sigh as I turn green with envy for the octopus.
As soon as he leaves, we pack our bags and some of us have started our journey home. To my surprise, Karma Akabane was actually waiting for me. How many years has it been since Karma waited for me? How many years has it been since we walked home together?
"Are you actually waiting for me?" I asked, knitting my eyebrows together. Is he plotting something evil? i internally shake my head. Karma is ill mannered and sarcastic but he means well.. Well.. Deep down. Very deep down in his heart.
"You're cooking sukiyaki today, remember?" He said. Did I really? "Heh~ I thought your hair is white because it's your natural hair colour. Turns out they're white because you're old. Don't tell me you forgot." I frown and attempted to punch his face. He laughs and dodges it.
"You're not supposed to dodge it. And it's platinum blonde for the umpteenth time."
"But then you'll hit me."
"That's the point."
"Heh~ you're scary." He teases. I flip my hair and sling the messenger bag over my shoulder.
"Whatever. Before sukiyaki, we have to pick Haru up from his school." I tuck some of my platinum blonde hair behind my ear.
"I wonder if he's healthy." He said to himself. I can't help but to make a face at his remark. Knowing Karma, every remark he makes will always be something to go against me.
"What do you mean, Karma?" I growl.
"Well.. remember that one time-"
"That was years ago!" I argue.
"See you tomorrow, Hime-chan!" Kayano waves from her seat, immediately easing the air between Karma and I. My anger of embarrassment quickly evaporates as soon as I hear her voice. I wave her back with a smile on my face. Her seat is just so far away from mine. Why do I have to be so far away from Kayano anyway? She's my girl best friend. Life is just so unfair. Nagisa gives me a wave as well before he is dragged out by Kayano.
"Bye guys!" I wave back. When they're out of sight, I turn to Karma and smile. I've completely forgotten about my anger towards Karma. Ah, that reminds me.. "Haru misses you dearly that he threatens me to go sleep at your house instead of keeping me company yesterday night." I chuckle, thinking about my 10 year old brother, with his pointed greyish blue eyes narrowed at me as he said those words while pointing his forefinger at me after dinner. I roll my eyes and told him that I will tell Karma to stop by. He immediately smiled and kissed my cheek. He wishes me good night and I ruffled his straight black hair before hopping happily to his room.
