Normal's POV

When Milo Kamakura went out the bushes, Karasuma went to the students slowly and gave specific instructions to Nagisa as Kaede coaxed Chiba.

"Get Hime, call Irina and get out." Karasuma said as he urged the students to go now while Ichiro is occupied by Koro-sensei and Kamakura.

"Roger, sensei." Nagisa said and they did exactly that. Although they didn't want to abandon their teachers, their main aim is to save Hime. They have countless leads that shows that Hime might still be alive after all.

And for now, they're content.

While they search, Nagisa got a call from Asano.

"I found her. I have with me your English teacher whose name I believe to be Irina Jelavic-sensei. Nagisa-kun, if you want to see Hime, I suggest you and your crew to pick up your pace. I refuse to wait any longer as that will only make her condition worsen since she already has lost a lot of blood. The ambulance that will bring her to my family's hospital have already arrived. I'm only calling you as a courtesy of informing me about Hime and I will wait until you arrive but for Hime's sake, pick up your pace." Asano informs him curtly like a teacher would.

"R-Right! Thank you so much Asano-san! Do you mind giving us the exact location, please?" Nagisa asks, smiling for the first time he was assigned to this mission.

"Sure. I'll text you. If there's nothing else-"

"Asano-san!" Nagisa shouts out to get Asano's attention. He doesn't know if it could wait but he needs to say it.

"Yes?"

"Thank you. Really." Nagisa said and it went quiet for a while on Asano's side of the line that Nagisa had to pull away from the phone to see if it's still connected.

"I didn't do it for any of you. I did it for her. She means the world to me." Asano scoffs. He didn't say it to spite Nagisa. Rather, he was telling the truth.

"I know. But just.. Thank you." Nagisa felt like a simple thank you is still needed – not for just saving Hime but trusting him enough to go look for Hime from just a simple text.

"Just be quick." Asano said before he ends the call.

Asano gave them specific coordinates through a text message as he promised and the trained assassins sprinted to the location as fast as their feet could take them. When they got there, Hime was already on a white bed with Irina at her side.

"Take a look at her before I bring her to the hospital. Her vital signs have already been stabilized." Asano said wearing only a sleeveless white undershit which has been dirtied with what seems like blood and dirt.

Rio and Kaede runs towards their best friend as Irina gave them space. The blonde beauty took her place next to Asano as she watches how his vermillion eyes soften when he looks at Hime. He's so far in love with her. Akabane-kun, what should you do now that your rival are several steps in front of you? Irina thought as she unconsciously thought of Karasuma. She suddenly needs to hear his voice and also to notify him that she did her job well. In other words: please praise me. Although calling would only enrage the man so she opted for texting. Might as well add a little heart. She thought; feeling giddy as she is completely unaware of Karasuma's situation. A heart is added and the message was sent before she feels disgusted with herself. I should have given him 3 hearts.

Kaede and Rio gave each other a look as they reach out to her with trembling hands. Their best friend is right in front of them, unmoving and the way she looks now, there's barely any difference to a corpse. Nagisa and Chiba have now taken the girls' side as they, too look at the motionless body in suspense. The girls who are standing on each side of the bed grabs Hime's hands as they note how chilly she is under their touch. And now, for the moment of truth. Placing their middle finger and forefinger on Hime's wrist, the space directly beneath her thumb. They hold their breath unconsciously as they concentrate to search for a pulse. When a faint pulse was felt, the blonde and green-haired girl gave each other a look as they giggled. A look of relief washes over their features as they let out the breath they've been subconsciously holding. "She's alive." They both mouthed to each other. Her pulse is rather weak but at least she's still alive and that's all that matters to them. At the very least, they could share this wonderful message with the rest of their classmates, waiting anxiously at school. "Let's take a picture so we could tell everyone that Hime has been found and she's alive." Rio said and Kaede nods eagerly.
