He was leaned up against the large window reviewing over a file. Of course he was. I shut the door quietly behind me and cleared my throat. His head shot and his dark brown eyes made contact with mine. I knew exactly what we were going to talk about.

"Haley, nice to see you please take a seat." He nodded his head over to the two seats that were placed in front of his desk. He walked over in a calm stance and leaned against his desk in front of me. "I know that we should probably talk...." He trailed off.

I nodded my head and gulped. "Yeah we do."

His face became emotionless as he looked me dead in my face. "Look, what happened between us was simply a mistake we were both intoxicated and we had no idea where our actions were leading us. I do not sleep with my employees that is not business like nor is it proper. I expect you understand this, we have no mutual relationship or friendship besides a boss and employee for that matter I expect things to go back to the way they were two days ago. I kindly ask you not to share our intimate moment with anyone else. An as of this moment that never happened and we never seen each other that night."

Words couldn't explain how happy I was to hear those words come out of his mouth. I wanted to stand up and start jumping up and down due to my excitement.

"Thank god." I whispered. "So you're not firing me?" I asked just to make sure.

"No of course not." He said and went to sit behind his desk. "But you do have a pile of papers that need to be refiled." He said began typing on his computer.

I hurriedly left the room and made my way to my office and of course there was a stack of papers sitting on my desk. I laid my purse on my small table and slipped off my shoes. I tended to work better without my shoes on, I felt like they were suffocating my feet.

I began to sort the files from oldest to the recents. Some of the papers had investments from other companies that were about 2 years old now, I kept passing some banking papers and I was surprised at how much this company was beginning in each month. Stefan must be pretty happy about this.

The next 45 minutes I finished sorting the papers and slipped on my shoes so that i could take them to the filing room and place them in there spots. I passed by Stefans office and made my way to the filing room. There was a girl not to much taller than me standing there with a confused look on her face.

"Are you lost?" I asked stepped more into the room.

"No, it's just these files are so out of date." I could tell she liked to keep things organized. "My names Alicia."

No wonder she sort of looked familiar. That was Stefans personal assistant. I kind of felt bad for her being that she had to be around him 24/7. Not that there was anything wrong with him it was just that he was hard man, it looked like he barely had fun.

"Haley." I replied. "Is it okay if I leave these with you?" I asked holding up the papers.

She nodded her head. "Of course as long as there already sorted then sure." I handed her the papers and exited the room.

There was a note on my office door, I picked up and read over the words briefly, Haley, you are free to go there's not much business to do today so enjoy the rest of your evening. -Stefan

I shrugged my shoulders and gathered my things. I did get off pretty early today so I guess it wouldn't hurt to grab some food even though I'm sure my mom was cooking dinner already.
