I fight, I try
I scream, I lie
I lie awake and cant stop crying,
In my restless soul my heart is dying
You said you suspected that things werent right
Why didnt you grab me and hold me tight?
Whisper to my ear that things will be all right?
You wouldnt let me out of sight
All I needed was you too see
That I wanted you to help me
Inside I want you to stay
Even though I push you all away
Maybe you already know
That once again I have lost control
Now there's nothing you can do
Cos I gave up on myself before you
