steven cried harder and harder as each new face walked in the door. all he wanted was the see max. even if he had to wait forever.

hours passed. some people had to leave because of their parents, others stayed to comfort steven, brendon, and ashley. troye brought tyler as well as cole and desiree. jarrod came along(e) too.

even more time had passed. it was around three am. all that was left were troye, connor, ryan, spencer, ashley, brendon, and steven. desiree and cole's parents came and got everyone else.

eventually even ryan, spencer, and brendon had to leave. after what seemed like forever, a nurse walked out and told everyone they could go see max. steven basically bolted to max's room, but ashley made sure he hit nothing.
