Chapter 4 "You flaunted around with your perfect family and your perfect life!"
~Farkle Minkus's Point of View~
"MAYA! Long time no see buddy!"
"Farkle, I saw you just a few hours ago."
"Still!"
I see her crack a small smile and that makes my heart flutter. My heart will always equally belong to Maya and Riley, even if they find happiness with another.
"What are you doing here Maya?" I turn to see Riley with a shock face, but I can see in her eyes; she's hurt.
"Can't I come to my favorite hangout? I mean, after all, my ex-best friends didn't even look for me, I might as well buy some comfort food." I look at Lucas to see guilt while Riley is fuel with anger.
"You have some nerve coming in hear acting as if you're the victim. Maya, we did worry about you, but you were too selfish to even come back for us!"
"I'm the selfish one? Oh that's rich coming from you. I put my feelings and everything else aside and what do you do? You take advantage of that with no thank you! You didn't even know what was going on in my life! Only Lucas knew and save my life! But what did you do? You flaunted around with your perfect family and your perfect life!"
And with that... Maya was gone... again.
