I still didn't believe him when he said that Joseph was worried about me and cared for me, after what I've heard and see from him. I probably would have believed him and not even considered questioning his statement when they first took me in but now I know the real them. The one's they hide from the outside world, while Marc is an ass to everyone who isn't close to him except for a select few, he's really sweet to whoever gains his trust, his father is nice to everyone too, but to his family mostly he shows his slightly narcissistic personality but he can also be real sweet at times.
Marc and Jack are the only ones in this family that I truly trust, but sooner or later they'll do something or I'll see something and they will lost it all.
After I thought about some more stuff I decided not to sulk anymore, instead I texted Declan and Lori to see if they wanted to go out, even though it was like five but I know that they most likely will. In about thirty minutes I got their answers and they didn't disappoint. I'm so glad they didn't cause I need to get out of that house for a while. We agreed to have Declan would pick up Lori then they would get me. That gave me enough time to put Jack to bed and change.
When we got to the house I took Jack out of the car and into the house, I didn't even look at Marc. He muttered something that I didn't catch. When I put Jack down in his bed he stirred a little but didn't fully wake up.
Before I left I said, "Goodnight Jack. Sweet dreams. Love you." with that I kissed him on his forehead lightly before leaving to get ready. Halfway to my room Marc stopped me and I just gave him an annoyed look waiting for him to say whatever he thought he had to say to try and make things better, but he couldn't, not today at least.
"I'm sorry, I just forgot for a second." he said with such a sincere expression that I wanted to forgive him, but I couldn't overlook the fact that he lied to me about such an important thing for so long.
"Whatever Marc." I said and started to leave but stopped myself to tell him, "By the way they're coming over soon, so I would appreciate it you didn't try an start a fight with Declan again." His face hardened at the mention of him which is understandable considering.
"He always starts it, not me." he stated matter-of-factly.
"And he has reason to, so I suggest that you get it together cause if you guys fight again after the shitty day I've had and wake up Jack you will both get it, got it?" he just nodded.
As I was leaving he half-yelled, "Where are you guys going this time?"
"No idea." yelled back as I closed my door, That's the best part I thought to myself.
Time to get ready, all that took longer than I thought and I really don't want start our time off with Declan's knuckles bloodied and having a possible swollen eye-depending on how bad his attitude is this time and if he's already celebrating when he gets here; even though he shouldn't since he's the driver because he won't let us drive his beauty, I laughed at that and started looking for my outfit.
