" Did you read my diary?", I asked curiously. " Yes and I feel the same way I'm sorry it took me so long to figure it out and I don't-", he started to say but I cut him off. I kissed him surprising myself and him all at once. Bam it was the most miraculous firework feeling in me now. I wanted to be with him and anyone else would be wrong for me. He kissed me back and it felt like I was exploding but in the best possible way. I lost my balance entirely but he caught me before I even began to fall. When we finally pulled apart I felt kind of lightheaded and slightly fazed out. After a minute I could stand on my own and so could he. " So do you want a ride home", he asked calmly. " Do you still have the same beat up Ferrari your dad gave you", I asked. " Until college", he nodded. " The radio doesn't work", I complained as we walked over to it. " It's not that bad", he laughed wrapping his arm around me. " Since when is buzzzzz not annoying", I said rolling my eyes. " Come on Goldie get in", he laughed. " Just keep the stereo off please", I said getting in. " Deal", he laughed. We stayed quiet most of the way to my house and then we passed it. " Hey", I said as we passed it, " I thought you knee where my house was". " I do", he said simply. " Are you giving me a tour of the neighborhood?", I asked puzzled. " I want to show you something", he said. " Alright but this is technically kidnapping so watch yourself", I sighed. " I'll keep that in mind", he smirked. I looked out the window at the blooming flowers and trees around us. He came to a halt in front of a bridge I remembered well. I used to live farther away and I dropped my book in the water, Katy laughed and I cried. That's the day I met Jeremy he saved my book and made me laugh. He wasn't the Alpha yet he was like me trying to be the person they'd been taught to be. My parents were both geeks through school and they kept telling me to keep my head down so I did. I always had until I got away and realized that head up or down I had to be me. It all started with the leather jacket and continued on from there. Katy had also been the way she was and she would never change but Jeremy might still have the ability to change. " What did your parents tell you when you were younger", I asked walking out onto the bench. " To keep my head high and never settle for second best", he said wrapping his arms around me.
" I wish things were still that easy", I said sadly. " Not everything needs to be analyzed so thoroughly Aly", he said kissing my cheek. " Sometimes other do though", I said turning around, " other things it is simple". " Like the last time we were here together", he said putting a lock of hair behind my ear,
" I was going back for my calculator when I heard someone scream and I found you yelling at Katy for pushing you and then tears and she was laughing like a maniac". " You took off your backpack and jumped in you gave to me and I gave you my extra calculator and after you showed us to the school you grabbed your gym strip and changed", I smiled. " You meet the others under that old tree and I left", he said grimly. " That morning wasn't in my diary", I realized. " I know", he said looking me in the eye. I knew it was just one morning but to me it was the biggest morning of my life. " I'm sorry for the last three and a half years", he said looking me in the eye.
" I'm sorry for the last six months and one day", I replied. " I missed you", he said then kissed me. " I missed you too", I said kissing him back. " I know", he said in between kisses. " Shut up", I laughed. He picked me up and we were both pressed up against the railing. Suddenly it was like we were flying and then there was water covering us. I finally pulled away from him when I realized we were in the deep creek. I swam to the surface and I felt him join me. " Klutz", he teased. " Look who's talking", I said swimming to the edge. Once we were out of the water we went to his vehicle. My red T-shirt and black jeans were soaked. That water was frigid so I was shivering like crazy. " Here", he tossing me one of his sweatshirts. " Thanks", I said putting it over my clothes. It was a little big for me but it was warm. He snuck out to the woods and came back changed.
" Come on", he said getting into the driver's seat, " you probably shouldn't go home with wet clothes". " Good idea", I said climbing in. " You still look beautiful", he said kissing me on the cheek. " Liar", I said shaking my head.
