"Niall, did your balls shrivel up and fall out of your pants?" I demanded, hitting my hand against his nightstand. He jumped slightly, startled but refused to look up at me. "If the answer is no then I want to know why the hell you haven't gone to see Key yet or gone to class and I demand to know why you think you can hide out here for the rest of your life."

"Emma please! It was a mistake can't we just forget it?" I glared at him and he nervously dropped his gaze again.

"No we can just not 'forget about it'. I will not have you lying to my roommate and I will not be your accomplice in this. If you don't tell her by tonight, I will." Niall jumped up and grabbed my arms.

"Please! Emma I'm begging you I don't want to hurt her! I think I'm in love with her." His proclamation took me off guard and I slowly pushed his hands away.

"Well that was unexpected." I glared over at Harry sitting backwards in Niall's rolling chair, his arms on the back of it lazily.

"Shut up Harry. You're here for moral support." He arched an eyebrow at me.

"For him or you?" I sighed.

"Just shh." I said, hushing him. Harry threw his arms in the air and spun toward the window slowly. Sighing, I looked back at Niall. He had sat back down on his bed glumly. Sitting next to him, I put my hand on his shoulder.

"Niall, I know you like her and I know it was a mistake but.. You can't not tell her about this. It's important. You can't lie to her about what happened, what you did. I won't let you and you're going to hate yourself if you do lie."

"I'm going to loose her."

"Maybe not." I said trying to sound confident but nobody sounds confident when they say maybe.

"Maybe is almost a definite no."

"Harry!" I exclaimed he was smiling so I knew he was just messing with me but it wasn't helping my case with Niall. Giving Harry a stern look I motioned for him to shut his mouth which he nodded his head to and turned away again.

"She's going to hate me and never want to speak to me again."

"You don't know that."

"But I do!" Niall exclaimed standing.

"How?" He just stared at the door to his room for a bit.

"Because that's the kind of person she is." He muttered.

"Either way, Niall you have to tell her. There's no getting out of it I'm sorry."

"Yeah, I know." He murmured turning back to look at me. Tears were filling his eyes again. "I'll talk to her."

"In person. You'll talk to her in person, not over the phone or through text, email, carrier pigeon. In person Niall." He nodded his head, not laughing at my carrier pigeon joke.

"I'll call her to come over." He murmured. I nodded my head as he grabbed up his phone and then I held my hand out for Harry. He slipped his warm hand easily in mine and he placed a small kiss to my forehead before we said goodbye to Niall and slid out of his room. I sighed and Harry squeezed my hand as we defended the stairs.
